So all the heterosexuals who get an STI from heterosexual sex are what? Flukes? Can make a case all sex is risky behaviour. Been STI known about and guarded against since at least ancient Rome. But trying to asseert anal intercourse among gay men is inherently unhealthy or otherwise something that justifies condemning homosexuality is to ignore the majority of heterosexuals who enjoy it. To say nothing of heterosexual men who enjoy some anal penetration.

Everyone has an anus. And everyone's anus is extremely sensitive. Enjoying sexual gratification through stimulation of the anus is just as normal and mainstream as enjoying oral copulation. But since most heterosexuals enjoy oral and some (fewer) enjoy anal, since that's all gay men CAN do it's more than alittle hypocritical to try and condemn homosexuals for doing what heterosexuals do.

Look, if you want to express your latent heterosexuality by using another dude's anus as your artificial vagina, that's your business. Just don't try to pass it off as a "normal difference in homo sapiens". The anus and colon are part of the human DIGESTIVE system. Therefore, they evolved in ways that make their use as a "sexual organ" very deadly dangerous. One of the ways your artificial vagina can kill you is that the colon evolved to resorb fluids and larger dissolved solids like vitamins in times of famine or lack of water. The colon doesn't know the difference between vitamins and the HIV virus. It throws out a welcome mat directly to the bloodstream for either one. A regular vagina has some protective features. It did evolve for the use of sex where STDS are common. It has certain ph features and flushing which attempt to keep STDs at a minimum. The artificial vagina [for you closeted heteros out there] does not have such features. As such, it is the type of "sex" that comes with the highest level of STD transmission per incident.

So if both partners are completely free of any stds, what then do you have to argue against anal? Its most certainly a natural, exciting alternative to the vagina, for women as well. Some of us like to receive it in both places, sometimes simultaneously ^_^

Here's the deal. Finding an interesting statistical anomaly is far different than drawing a conclusion that it is a cause of the process. So in the case of IQ points --- a handful of exceptions would disprove any theory claiming that it a requisite for the condition. However -- actual physiological evidence of brain structure is a different story if you match that to a strong correlation of known offenders. Because there you haven't PROVED anything -- but you've got a whole other angle to investigate with ACTUAL TOOLS and measurements.

Pedophilia, as of DSM-5 is a 'recognized sexual orientation.' Not a mental illness. In part because you can't in fact treat pedophiles of their pedophilia, the consensus is it's not an illness, which could be treated, but rather an orientaiton.

Can find out what leads to it and other orientations though and try and reduce the numebr of people with the orientation though. Though not specificly concerned with paraphilias, it's what I do trying to reduce violence by discovering the source and reasons for such behaviours. If we can figure out why some people become pedophiles, we can leigslate education and other programs designed to prevent it. Just as we can tailor sex ed programs to overcome the pandemic of violence in the world right now.

In a press release, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) notes that the correct terminology is "sexual interest" and that it will correct the error in the manual's electronic version and in the next print edition.
"Sexual orientation is not a term used in the diagnostic criteria for pedophilic disorder, and its use in the DSM-5 text discussion is an error," said the organization in its statement.
