Pedophile handbook sold on Amazon via Kindle...

Yo.......Stupid As Shit........I didn't say anything about arresting them.
Neither did I.

I insinuated you said we should bomb their houses. Because you're an overreacting clown. Perhaps we need a demonstration:

Unless.........you are in defense of pedophiles.

Truly astute observational abilities. You didn't just type that, did you? Unless.............you are in defense of terrorism!

I don't understand how anyone could possibly think that this would make them a best selling author.......

Nor do i. But was that their goal?

The same as the homos agenda has been... "acceptance." They have to start pushing their crap somewhere, somehow, just like the homos did. Pedophiles can look at how successful the homos have been forcing their perversion on society, well, pedophiles just might feel that now it's their turn to make their move.

I have heard this story and still do not understand what happened. Can any random person with a manuscript upload it onto Amazon without the site's permission? That doesn't seem possible....so did an employee of the company actually approve this book for sale? If so, that person needs to be fired.

Alot of my friends are boycotting Amazon forever thankies to this incident; I might, though I'd like more data on what actually took place.

The Advocate, a leading GLBT publication, tried defending the author of this book and got positively spit-roasted alive by their readers for their troubles....

Years ago, Paladin Press was sued over a book on committing murder called "Hit Man". The book was involved in a murder of two adults and a disabled child in Detroit and again in an attempted murder in Seattle. The lawsuit -- which was not a criminal case -- is considered to be the greatest inroad yet made against the First Amendment. It was settled by the publisher before a verdict, and is noteworthy mainly because most such suits cannot survive a Motion To Dismiss.

I think ABikerSailor's idea of tracing IPs is sound, and I hope the FBI looks hard at every purchaser, as well as at the author. Next to child murder, child rape is probably the most despicable crime anyone can commit, IMO.

Amazon sold the book because there policy, until a bunch of idiots made a fuss, was that they would not censor anything, and would sell anything that is legal. If the FBI can convince a judge that they have probable cause to demand that Amazon turn over the records of everyone who purchased that book then they should investigate. On the other hand, if they cannot convince a judge, should they be able to demand a list of customers from Amazon? Wouldn't that violate their right to privacy? Or something? Or do you only think people have a right to privacy if they do not read stuff you don't like? Should Amazon also turn over customer record for people who buy Anarchist Cookbook and other questionable books?

Amazon should/must turn over data on any buyer the FBI or other law enforcement has a valid subpoena on, Quantum Windbag. Whether legal grounds for a subpoena exist on these facts is not really my expertise, but mebbe. The FBI has successfully obtained subpoenas for lists of IPs that hit a child porn site before from UserNet and perhaps from Yahoo! and Google. (This ain't really my expertise.)

Back to Amazon....are you saying I can do up "The Collected Works Of Madeline *******" as a self-published book and Amazon will accept it for sale? I find that bizarre-o, if true.

Well, it is just a data-collection agency. ANYONE can sell any item on amazon. Amazon profits by being the middle man. Doesn't really matter what the items are.

But you see obtaining child pornography is illegal in any form. Purchasing a book is not. So I would be very surprised if the FBI could get subpoenas for it. Then again, I'm sure if you search around for a bit, you could find some illogical judge who is too outraged by the concept to care about the actual laws that govern the issue.

Do you think it is weird that you can sell stuff on EBay?

Been thinking on this and it could be a good thing since everyone who buys the book goes on a watch list.

You do realize that Kindle's have GPS trackers in them don't you?
If it a classified part of the Patriot Act.

Let's face it - this kind of shit has been around forever, but it used to be kept "under wraps." But in more recent decades, Larry Flint's "freedom of speech" case opened the door for pornography as an art form and that ruling has led to even more challenges for filth to fall under the "freedom of speech" clause.

Considering today's mores, I fully expect to see this book to become required reading in our classrooms ... in the interest of "tolerance" and "acceptance" you know. No matter how rank a person's inclinations, actions or beliefs our children should very quickly learn to love and embrace these things.

But let's ban the classics (for whatever non-reason), pass out condoms, teach graphic sexuality (as early as possible), defile and ban the American flag, and anything else that might be worthy and/or informative or thought-provoking in a positive way.

Fuck this crap.

Well, color me *shocked*. I thought Amazon was a retailer. I didn't know it was a marketplace....that does make their hosting a "how to commit pedophilia" book somewhat more excusable.

Look for the "Collected Works of Madeline *******" soon!

Heard this on the news this morning..........

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Online retail giant Amazon was under fire on Wednesday for selling a self-published digital book called "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure."

The reviews page for the book, by a Phillip R. Greaves and available for Amazon's Kindle electronic reader, was deluged with criticism of the Seattle, Washington-based Amazon for offering it for sale.

"This is a joke, right? What reputable business would even consider allowing this book to be sold from their website?" said a visitor identified as "Emerald Storm." "This is absolutely despicable."

"Shame on Amazon for allowing such garbage to be sold on its site," said another with the handle "thirty something."

The book, whose full title is "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct," had received more than 305 "reviews" with 297 giving it a one-star rating, the lowest possible.

Most of the "reviews" were appeals to Amazon to remove the book.

"Amazon, you might want to consider taking this horrid book off your website if you want to have any business this holiday season," wrote "ecirtap."

"Shame on you, Amazon, for allowing a book like this to be uploaded for purchase! This book gives advice to people about something that is ILLEGAL in every state in this nation. It needs to be removed from the site immediately," wrote another customer.

Now.......never mind that it takes a sick asshole to write shit like this, but it is also VERY negligent for Amazon to even consider putting this on it's site.

Know what the author wanted to do? He was hoping to get pedophilia to be viewed "in a friendlier light".

What do you guys think of this shit?

Do they sell the Bible and the Qu'ran? The Mishnah which teaches Jews to suck the blood from a fresh circumcised child? Lolita?

UPDATE:

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — Florida officials filed an obscenity charge Monday against the author of a self-published how-to guide for pedophiles that was yanked from Amazon.com last month after it generated online outrage .
Polk County sheriff's deputies arrested Philip Ray Greaves II hundreds of miles away from Florida at his home in Pueblo, Colorado, and charged him with violating Florida's obscenity law.
Polk Sheriff Grady Judd said his office was able to arrest Greaves on Florida charges because Greaves sold and mailed his book, "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-lover's Code of Conduct," directly to undercover Polk deputies. Judd says Greaves even signed the book.

Like anyone who follows hate, they use truth interspersed with lies.

Orthodox Judaism prescribes circumcision as a religious ritual, to be performed according to strict Talmudic laws. According to those laws, the man who circumcises the infant, the mohel, must suck the infant's bleeding penis with his mouth to complete the covenant with their Lord. The baby boy is eight days old.

This covenant was given to us by G-d.

The lie is putting "Lolita" beside the foulness of your hate. Lolita is an emotively connotative word suggesting sex with a young girl. This is an eight year old baby boy with the family and friends watching this emotionally charged connecting of one's child to G-d.

Well he's been arrested and like uscitizen said, prob. anyone who bought it might be watched as well. It is doubtful that any innocents purchased this trash, so at least now they'll have some names. How many children are usually abused before a pedophile gets caught? Even catching a few of these pervs could save a couple hundred kids.
