Pearl Harbor was a terrorist attack - not an act of war

Ginsoaked, you are one dumb fuck. The Japanese attacked a military installation with uniformed military personel in clearly marked airplanes. It was an act of war, not a terrorist attack. A stupid and heinous attack, but a act of war, none the less.

Pearl Harbor was an act of war because the Japanese scheduled their deceleration RIGHT BEFORE pearl harbor, but failed to do so and end up announcing their declaration an hour or few after the fact.

That's like a killer sending the victim's widow a note-after-the-fact.

Pearl Harbor was a sneaky unmitigate terror attack during negotions - not a legal act of war.

Best favor they could have done.

When would the USA have entered WW2 withou tPH?

people forget that on the anniv of 9/11.

Pearl Harbor was a military operation with a military objective - the destruction of the US Pacific Fleet. The Japanese intended to have their declaration delivered in Washington just before they attacked, but too late for any warning to have an effect. It was a unprovoked sneak attack, but it was not an act of terrorism.

An act of terrorism is designed to spread terror and more often than not is targeted on civilian populations.

One could make a case that the bombing of London by the Germans, Dresden by the British, Tokyo by the Americans were acts of terrorism to the degree they were targeted against civilian populations. However one could argue that they were military operations in a time of total war with a goal of breaking the will of the people.

FDRs "Concentration Camps " were country clubs compared to the real ones.

People in the South complained that during rationing - German POWs were better fed than they were.
