GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) condemned, in a statement on Thursday, the continuous arrest campaigns, which have been carried out by the Palestinian security services against members and supporters of Hamas in the West Bank.

The human rights organisation called upon the PA and its security services to "stop arbitrary detentions, to promptly release all political detainees, and to end the practice of political detention."

GAZA, (PIC)-- Al-Ahrar center for the defense of prisoners revealed that Israeli intelligence officers interrogated the Hamas detainees, who were kidnapped lately as a result of the three resistance operations that took place last week, in the Palestinian authority's jails.

The center stated that letting Israeli officers from the Shin Bet participate in interrogating Hamas prisoners in the PA's Juneid prison in Nablus is a serious matter reflecting the real role in protecting the security of Israeli settlers.

It also condemned the torture sessions taking place in PA's jails and appealed to human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities and intervene to pun an end to these violations.

According to the latest reports received by the Palestinian information center (PIC), the PA's security militias alone kidnapped so far 710 Palestinians thought to be affiliated with Hamas in the context of the joint PA-Israeli arrest campaign being carried out following West Bank operations.

Whose side is Abbas on? No wonder the Palestinians do not want him to negotiate peace with Israel.
