PC=Censorship

The problem with ACLU is that it is an advocacy group. There are too many groups in this society who advocate exclusively for their own interests. The civil rights movement started in response to a need. Now it's just "do what the blacks want". Feminism started for some good reasons, now, "give women what they want". Retired people vote in blocs against education funding, simply because they don't need it. Who cares about society at large? ACLU has a set of principles they pursue whether or not it's in the interest of the public. Sometimes they are right, sometimes they are wrong, but they don't choose their causes on that basis. We need more groups working towards the common good and less on behalf of their own little subcultures.

Interesting that when you start listing exclusive interest groups most belong to the DNC.

Yet liberals sit and wonder why the DNC can't get its act together and speak with one voice. I still remember the Dems debating one another for the 1980 election. They crucified each other. The did Reagan's work for him far more effectively than if it had been him calling them names.

Both of your statements here show why the Democratic Party is in decline. They've balkanized themselves beyond recognition.

Ah ..... but as long as anyone who calls themselves liberal and/or a Dem can vote AGAINST the GOP, they refuse to see what is glaringly obvious.

Most people I know just try to decide what is the lesser of the two evils.

Pc is mostly an instrument of the left.

Try wearing a Che Guevara T-Shirt on Campus or in the city, then one with a Swastika. Report back from the hospital.

The ACLU is a socialist/communist organization hell bent on leather to wipe religion from the face of America...plain and simple!
As for "Retired" people voting in block...not true I am retired and vote on issues that effect me personally as well as my kids and grandkids...as do many others I associate with.

The hippies who wear a Che T-shirt don't even know who he is or what he stands for.

Everyone knows what the Swastika stands for.

I hope I'm mistaken, but it sounds like you wish you could wear a swastika shirt in public without condemnation?

Good for you Arch. I didn't mean "all" retired people. But some groups do that.
