Pause a MOment

If you think God does not care you are only fooling yourself. Since I know He rules the hearts of men I believe He does care.
God may indeed care about us, if a human emotion such as care can be used to describe God's ineffably divine essence, but God anticipates everything that happens, as God's omniscience isn't bound by the constraints of time as our limited cognitive abilities are.

It can, however, be safely assumed that God does not meddle in God's creation until incontrovertible evidence of the contrary arises, and it has not. The idea that God interferes in the physical universe necessarily implies that something is wrong with the universe, which in turn suggests that something is wrong with God for being unable to create an ideal state of existence from the beginning and having to clean up after God's own mistakes. It is illogical.

Anybody who convinces himself or herself that they know what or how God thinks is unfortunately the victim of a self-imposed delusion, since God does not interfere. This includes you, me, and the rest of the posters on this thread. If political opinions cannot be supported without falling back on the supposed support of God, it becomes necessary to reconsider those opinions.
You can think what you like.

We're entitled to our own opinions, but not our own facts.

Your command of homosexual slang tells me you know a whole shit load more about it than I do.
I may know more insults, but you've got hands-on experience.

But I can't imagine how.... don't you muslims KILL homos? Why do know so much homo slang? You sure your muslim brothers and sisters would be OK with that? Better watch yourself there sheet head.
I'm flattered that you're so worried about me, but I just don't swing that way. :eusa_hand:

And I'm not sure how much you want but, is this enough of the koran commanding you to KILL INFIDELS?

KORAN commands to kill infidels:
Let's see.

Allah is an enemy to unbelievers. - Sura 2:98
Whoever is the enemy of Allah and His angels and His messengers and Jibreel and Meekaeel, so surely Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers. - 2:98

On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. - Sura 2:161
Except those who repent and amend and make manifest, these it is to whom I turn; and I am the Oft-returning, the Merciful. Surely those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, these it is on whom is the curse of Allah and the angels and men all. - 2:160-161

What's the problem?

Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. - 2:191

And fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you but be not aggressive. Surely Allah loves not the aggressors. And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out of where they drove you out, and persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it; so if they fight you, slay them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers. But if they desist, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - 2:190-192

Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme. (different translation: ) Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God's entirely. - Sura 2:193 and 8:39

And fight them until there is no persecution, and the religion is only for Allah. But if they desist, then there should be no hostility except against the oppressors. - 2:193

And fight with them until there is no more persecution, and all religions are for Allah. But if they desist, then surely Allah is Seer of what they do. - 8:39

Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. - 2:216
(different translation: ) Prescribed for you is fighting, though it is hateful to you.

Fighting is enjoined on you, though it is disliked by you; and it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you; and Allah knows while you know not. - 2:216

This obviously refers to fighting against the aggressors described in 2:190.

..... martyrs.... Enter heaven - Surah 3:140-43
That's completely incorrect. 3:140-142 don't discuss martyrdom. 3:143 reads thus:

And certainly you desired death before you met it. So indeed you have seen it now while you look.

This addresses those Muslims who wanted to fight the besieging Quraish in the open field rather than fighting defensively from Medina as the prophet desired they should.

If you should die or be killed in the cause of Allah, His mercy and forgiveness would surely be better than all they riches they amass. If you should die or be killed, before Him you shall all be gathered. - 3:157-8

You must not think that those who were slain in the cause of Allah are dead. They are alive, and well-provided for by their Lord. - Surah 3:169-71

What's the problem? Where is the indiscriminate slaughter of "infidels" mentioned?

Let those fight in the cause of God who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fights in the cause of God, whether he is slain or victorious, soon we shall give him a great reward. - Surah 4:74

Those who believe fight in the cause of God, and those who reject faith fight in the cause of evil. - 4:76

So let those fight in the way of Allah who sell this world’s life for the Hereafter. And whoever fights in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward. And what reason have you not to fight in the way of Allah, and of the weak among the men and the women and the children, who say: Our Lord, take us out of this town, whose people are oppressors, and grant us from Thee a friend, and grant us from Thee a helper! Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the devil. So fight against the friends of the devil; surely the struggle of the devil is ever weak. - 4:74-76

You've conveniently omitted 4:75, wherein it is reiterated that "fighting in the way of Allah" denotes defending the weak and opposing oppression. Why hate a religion if you have to use dishonest tactics to make it seem worse than it is?

But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever you find them. - 4:89

They long that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved so that you might be on the same level; so take not from among them friends until they flee in Allah’s way. Then if they turn back, seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take no friend nor helper from among them, Except those who join a people between whom and you there is an alliance, or who come to you, their hearts shrinking from fighting you or fighting their own people. And if Allah had pleased, He would have given them power over you, so that they would have fought you. So if they withdraw from you and fight you not and offer you peace, then Allah allows you no way against them. You will find others who desire to be secure from you and secure from their own people. Whenever they are made to return to hostility, they are plunged into it. So if they withdraw not from you, nor offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them. And against these We have given you a clear authority. - 4:89-91

You're still batting 0, buddy. You shouldn't have tried to play this game with me. :eusa_whistle:

Therefore, we stirred among them enmity and hatred, which shall endure till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will declare to them all that they have done. - 5:14

And with those who say, we are Christians, We made a covenant, but they neglected a portion of that whereof they were reminded so We stirred up enmity and hatred among them to the day of Resurrection. And Allah will soon inform them of what they did. - 5:14

This refers to some Christians' ignorance of their own religious teachings.

O believers, take not Jews and Christians as friends; they are friends of each other. Those of you who make them his friends is one of them. God does not guide an unjust people. - 5:54
That's actually 5:51. Look to 60:7-8 for clarification:

It may be that Allah will bring about friendship between you and those of them whom you hold as enemies. And Allah is Powerful; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. Allah forbids you not respecting those who fight you not for religion, nor drive you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly. Surely Allah loves the doers of justice.

Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme - 8:39
You already posted that one.

O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there are 20 steadfast men among you, they shall vanquish 200; and if there are a hundred, they shall rout a thousand unbelievers, for they are devoid of understanding. - 8:65
See above. Verses describing warfare clearly only pertain to the type of defensive warfare explained in the Qur'an.

It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he has made slaughter in the land. - 8:67
It is not fit for a prophet to take captives unless he has fought and triumphed in the land. You desire the frail goods of this world, while Allah desires the Hereafter. And Allah is Mighty, Wise.

So?

Allah will humble the unbelievers. Allah and His apostle are free from obligations to idol-worshipers. Proclaim a woeful punishment to the unbelievers. - 9:2-3

When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. - 9:5
This only applies to hostile idolaters. Once again, relevant information is contained in 9:4, which was conveniently omitted.

Except those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement, then they have not failed you in anything and have not backed up anyone against you; so fulfill their agreement to the end of their term. Surely Allah loves those who keep their duty.

Believers! Know that idolators are unclean. - 9:28
And? The idolaters of Mecca were morally destitute. They danced naked around the Ka'aba.

Fight those who believe neither in God nor the Last Day, nor what has been forbidden by God and his messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, even if they are People of the Book, until they pay the tribute and have been humbled. - 9:29 (another source: ) The unbelievers are impure and their abode is hell. (another source: ) Humiliate the non-Muslims to such an extent that they surrender and pay tribute.

Fight those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor follow the Religion of Truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. - 9:29

This tells Muhammad's followers to tax those of the Christians and Jews who wanted to remain autonomous and not follow those laws "which Allah and His Messenger" have established. If a people waged war with the Muslims, they'd be expected to pay a price for their autonomy.

Whether unarmed or well-equipped, march on and fight for the cause of Allah, with your wealth and your persons. - 9:41
Problem? "Striving hard" entails spreading the message of Islam and usually has nothing to do with actual "fighting" when mentioned in the Qur'an. See 25:52:

So obey not the disbelievers, and strive against them a mighty striving with it.

"It" being the Qur'an.

O Prophet! Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites. Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end. - 9:73
"Make war" is an incorrect translation. Once again, the literal translation is "strive hard," which generally refers to proselytization.

O Prophet, strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be firm against them. And their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.

Allah has purchased of their faithful lives and worldly goods, and in return has promised them the Garden. They will fight for His cause, kill and be killed. - 9:111

Surely Allah has bought from the believers their persons and their property — theirs is the Garden. They fight in Allah’s way, so they slay and are slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is more faithful to his promise than Allah? Rejoice therefore in your bargain which you have made. And that is the mighty achievement.

Fight unbelievers who are near to you. 9:123 (different translation:
Believers! Make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Let them find harshness in you. (another source: ) Ye who believe! Murder those of the disbelievers....
Refers to the persecuting Quraish of Makkah.

As for those who are slain in the cause of Allah, He will not allow their works to perish. He will vouchsafe them guidance and ennoble their state; He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them. - 10:4-15
No reference is made to people dying in warfare in any of those ayat or the ayat around them. You'd know this if you knew what the Qur'an said, but you can't be bothered to actually learn about something you irrationally hate, can you?

Allah has cursed the unbelievers and proposed for them a blazing hell. - 33:60

Unbelievers are enemies of Allah and they will roast in hell. - 41:14
So?

When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks, then when you have made wide slaughter among them, tie fast the bonds, then set them free, either by grace or ransom, until the war lays down its burdens. - 47:4
(different translation: ) When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads, and when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly.
Refers once again to the only type of warfare permitted by the Qur'an, defensive warfare or opposition to persecution.

Those who are slain in the way of Allah - he will never let their deeds be lost. Soon will he guide them and improve their condition, and admit them to the Garden, which he has announced for them. - 47:5
And?

Muslims are harsh against the unbelievers, merciful to one another. - 48:25

It is they who disbelieved and debarred you from the Sacred Mosque — and the offering withheld from reaching its goal. And were it not for the believing men and the believing women, whom, not having known, you might have trodden down and thus something hateful might have afflicted you on their account without knowledge — so that Allah may admit to His mercy whom He pleases. Had they been apart, We would surely have chastised those who disbelieved from among them with a painful chastisement.

Muhammad is Allah's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another. Through them, Allah seeks to enrage the unbelievers. - 48:29
Your translations are incomplete and poor.

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the disbelievers,a compassionate among themselves. Thou seest them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking Allah’s grace and pleasure. Their marks are on their faces in consequence of prostration. That is their description in the Torah — and their description in the Gospel — like seed-produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the disbelievers on account of them. Allah has promised such of them as believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.

Prophet! Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal sternly with them. Hell shall be their home, evil their fate. - 66:9

O Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and remain firm against them, and their abode is hell; and evil is the resort.

Once again, "make war" is incorrect. A qualified translator, fluent in both languages, explained:

The verb translated strive is jåhid, from which is derived the word jihåd, and the context shows that by striving is not meant the carrying on of a war, for war was never proclaimed against the hyprocrites, who, in fact, were for all practical purposes treated as Muslims. Therefore, when the Prophet is commanded to carry on a jihåd against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, it is clear that jihåd is something else than mere fighting.

The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans shall burn forever in the fire of hell. They are the vilest of all creatures. - 98:51
"Pagans" should be rendered more accurately as "idolaters."

There is no 98:51. This is 98:6. What's the problem?

Like all other ignorant bigots, you have failed. The message of the Qur'an is something to be revered unless it's purposefully warped by people such as yourself.
