Not many people know this, but Truthmatters is completely at home and comfortable at one of Ron Pauls fund raisers.

Paulestinians many times share the same beliefs as liberals.

They are for more freedoms in regards to social issues.

They oppose Israel in many cases.

They're ok with gutting the military.

The things that make them different are their thoughts on the size/scope of Govt and the issue of taxes. Otherwise, they could be found marching together against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan......

Ron Paul runs on the GOP ticket because that makes it easier to win an election than being an independent.

He also opposes the Democrats that are pro-abortion, pro-regulation, pro-big Govt, pro-high taxes, pro-Obamacare, etc. He just finds more positives with the GOP than the Democrat nuts.
