Paul Says U.S. 'Slipping Into A Fascist System'...

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul warned the U.S. is "slipping into a fascist system" dominated by government and businesses

"Now we're slipping into a fascist system where it's a combination of government and big business and authoritarian rule and the suppression of the individual rights of each and every American citizen."

Paul says US `slipping into a fascist system'
Ron Paul 2012 | Peace . Gold . Liberty | Daily Paul

Instead of arguing about what we disagree on, why don't we focus on what we do agree on. Us liberals agree with Ron Paul that the US is slipping into a facist state dominated by businesses.

It seems to me the only people who deny this are Republicans.
There are factions on the left who are all for it too. They would gladly sacrifice liberty to ensure that everyone is taken care of. The right wants security above all else. The little known secret is that you don't have to sacrifice liberty to achieve either of these goals. People on both sides have been lured with different baits toward the same trap. Their first mistake was buying into the whole left/right paradigm.

Ron Paul uses other people's money to run for an office he knows he can't win.

In short, he's playing Fantasy Candidate on a whole bunch of other people's dimes, most of which I'm guessing those people could put to much better use on themselves,

or on their own families.

ALL politicians use other peoples' money to run campaigns so what's your point?

Ron Paul has a unique and consistent philosophy that values individual liberty above all else.

Now I ask you what's not to like about that?

As long as you reject the idea of anyone having any obligation of any sort to community, to the common good, to national unity, etc.,

then of course you can value your own individual selfish 'liberty' above all else.

There is no legal obligation to community, the common good or national unity.

What's good for the individual is good for the community and the country.

To call a person who values liberty above all else selfish is ignorant at best. It's those who want to take from others to extend their control over the people that are selfish.

Given that you routinely support candidates who get single digit support among normal Americans,

I think the question has already been settled.
The candidates that I support aren't at issue here, your brand of insolent, snotty selfishness is....And given that your particular mindset is only shared by 20% of the population, at best, you're hardly in any position to claim membership in any kind of a majority.

Since I always score slightly left of center on left/right issue tests, I am well within the majority.

right there with the rest of the flock huh?

When you know you can't win, you are knowingly and intentionally wasting people's money.

Are you an immigrant? This is how American elections work. If you don't like how other people freely choose to support their candidate, then perhaps you should go back to your homeland.

Ron Paul knows he can't win. He's abusing the generosity and gullibility of others for his own amusement.

Maybe he is actually attempting to get his message out because he knows it is important and people are not yet listening. Personally, I don't thing he is such a great messenger. Maybe the message is right, but the messenger just turns people off.

Still someone should be saying it, because most Democrats and Republicans only want more control of our lives.

To reiterate what Immanuel said, you really couldn't have this more wrong if you tried. Ron Paul is doing exactly what we want him to do: fighting for the things we believe in. The corporate whores you support sure as fuck won't.

Those people make the choice to give or not. It's not as if a politician drops out and then they return the campaign contributions that haven't been spent now is it?

In fact people waste their own money all the time and that's none of your business either.

Mr. Fucktard, sir:

If he dropped out , who would support the Constitution and individual liberty?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Very damn few from either camp give a damn about liberty.

Quitters never win.

There is a chance he can win even if it is slim at best, it is still a chance. Many people like myself think that even a slim hope is better than no hope at all. I suppose you think you have better ideas for my money?

I think the problem is the message, not the messenger. The message that Paul carries is one which is not happy go lucky, everything will work out in the end. People don't want to hear that, look what message carried the day in 2008.

The message is individual LIBERTY and RESPONSIBILITY.
Those 2 things go hand in hand, and are the main tenets of our Constitution.
Liberty without responsibility is ANARCHY.
Responsibility without liberty is SOCIALISM.

I know. Notice I didn't say the message was wrong, but that people don't want to hear the message.

That is true.

The narcotized populace can not accept the fact that the government bureaucrats are criminals. Reason Hitler was able to easily decimate 6,000,000 human beings.

Yup, keep em drugged-up and dumbed-down. And the MSM is certainly doing its part on that.
