Hmm, so currently we have an engorged Federal bureaucracy issuing rules so numerous they don't even know all of them. We have a tax code so complicated the IRS gives incorrect answers to something like 40% of the questions posed. We have an unprecedented budget deficit that grows larger daily.

I think you have it backwards. The Dems want to wage 3 wars and cut the military at the same time. They want to increase taxes to drive industry out of this country. They want to increase regulations to shut down small business. They want to take over as many industries as possible, like student loans, and increase inefficiency, waste and fraud. They want to make more and more beneficiaries of the state, insuring their continued fealty. It is the Democratic Party that seeks to destroy this country and everything the Founders (whom they scorn as rich old slave owning men) established.

It's not calling for that. Everyone 55 and older stays with Medicare. Those under 55 get a different program. One that actually might remain solvent instead of cause massive debt. One that actually does what they say it will and one we don't have to pass to see what's in it.

The "GOAL" is a return to Constitutionally Limited Government. The "GOAL" is to make Article I, Sections 8 & 9, and the Tenth Amendment meaningful portions of the US Constitution again. The "GOAL" is to return this country to a society where PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY means something, and where people don't look to the Government to fix all their problems and provide their wants, needs, or desires in life.

I think the first thing we need to do is stop playing political games and work toward the common good. It shouldn't be about what special interests it favors. What helps businesses do business should be the priority, not making sure that children aren't fat, that seniors get their monthly cheese allowance, and assuring that the same 4 Cowboy Poets get their fat government check.
