Poll: Ryan 3rd-most-disliked GOPer

Democrats are winning the messaging war on Paul Ryan's bid to overhaul Medicare.

Democrats are winning the messaging war on Rep. Paul Ryan’s bid to overhaul Medicare, with a new Bloomberg poll finding 57 percent of Americans believe they would be worse off under his plan.

Only 34 percent said they would be better off if Congress replaced “traditional Medicare” with a program to purchase private insurance with government subsidies, as Ryan has proposed.

The poll also found Ryan is now the nation’s third most disliked Republican, with net unfavorable ratings that trail only former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

The conservative's favorite rising star, lol. Hey, we tried to tell you...

Dems 2008: These two entities—Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac—are not facing any kind of financial crisis

Dems 2011: These two entities—Social Security and Medicare—are not facing any kind of financial crisis

That the leftloons detest him tells me that he must be doing something or another right.

Since the righties detest obama so much, it must mean he is doing something right.

See how that works? Now go have your milk and cookies, its nap time
Problem here being that we're not talking about some rigged poll in the instance of Barry Obungler.

I'll bet you a dollar to a dog turd that 90% of the people Politico polled don't have the vaguest idea who Paul Ryan is.....Boiking doesn't have such a name recognition challenge.

Again, this is all the libs have.. Ryan is trying to find solutions to our unsustainable entitlement programs and out of control spending, and this is the best the dems can do? Demonize the man. Were is Obama's plan? Were is the democrat budget? They ran everything up until Jan. were is their budget? Were is Obama"s budget? Oh that's right it was voted down in the Senate 97 to 0 imagine that. You libs got nothing to run on just a bullshit smear campaign

Hey, if we have an alleged 3rd worst republican (in the world?) it follows that a fair and balanced viewpoint ought to include the 3rd worst democrat. It's a toss-up, after Barry and the dim-wit brain damaged V.P. it's Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid. Since Reid is still in a leadership position it goes to him.

Rule for Radicals. Don't discuss the ideas or the debate the program. Make one guy the face of your opposition, and destroy him.

Medicare is heading down the tubes. Either we fix it, or it will put us in a fix. The democrats aren't interested in arguing the plus or minus of the program, only arguing Paul Ryan.

Meanwhile, the economy goes the way of Greece.

This is a good laugh.

Winning "the messaging war"? In other words Dems are the best at fear mongering and proud of it.
Medicare is going to go bankrupt. The Dems plan to fix it: do nothing and let Republicans try, when they do accuse them of trying to kill medicare so we can get elected back into office.

Ryan himself isn't particularly important, as his destructive ideas have become the official party line. With a handful of exceptions, they all want to dismantle Medicare.

Well--the REALITY of the situation begs to differ.

Currently 18,000 babyboomers are entering medicare/social security DAILY which will continue for the next 15 years. This results in 64 TRILLION in unfunded liabilites--or $534,000.00 per household in America owed to the Federal Government. This on top of the 14.3 trillion dollars in red ink we're at now.

$1 billion dollars.jpg

1 billion dollars--$100.00 dollar bills stacked on palets.

1 trillion dollars--$100.00 dollar bills stacked on palet. NOTE: how small the man is in this chart.

Now DEMOCRATS can keep sticking their heads in the mud on this one--while denying and stating that everything is O.K.-(so they can win in 2012) and we can wait until we hit the "Greece" effect--or they can choose to do something about it NOW. There is simply not enough wealth in this entire country to confiscate--to pay this tab.

You have any idea why Greece got in the pickle they did? They borrowed money to upgrade their military. That..and they have no control over their own currency.

So hmm..what's the highest ticket item in America's budget?

:doubt:
