I'm one year older than Ryan, and back in HS, AC/DC and Zepplin were in my top 5 along with Aerosmith and Sabbath...I can't tell you who the fifth one was.
Well the implication is he's a dork.......so what do you think about that?
I think it makes him a rocker.
I think that the left picking at him over anything other than policy issues is funny...I'm surprised someone like Mal hasn't started a thread mocking Obama for his music choices.

The 70s and the 80s were my favorite years for rock.
Three Dog Night, the Stones, Hendrix, etc,
Then when I was in school in the Army it was Madonna, Michael Jackson, Spandau Ballet, Howard Jones, The Police, U2, Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Billy Fucken Idol, I can't remember all of the others.

Good grief! My husbands ten years younger than me and was barely out of diapers when the Yardbirds hit, but it doesn't mean he can't like them as much as I do.
And Paul Ryan is young for crying out loud.
