I get to practice patience every day I post here. Some days I succeed, some days I fail.

I have no patience for bullshit or phoniness. The person that tells you to fuck off and then says, "peace".

Never pray for patience unless you really want it; because if you do you will find yourself in a situation where you get to practice your patience.

I came in to say about the same thing.

I was always taught not to pray for patience as the Bible says that patience is granted through trials and tribulations.


I try to be as patient as I humanly can. 99.97% of the time I succeed.
I'm a real mellow person. I give too many chances sometimes.

But, no, I never "pray for patience"

Bible says:

Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Pretty heavy. Though alot of Luke Chapter 31 is talking about end times and our perserverence through them; even so.

Bible also says love is patient:

1 Cor 13: 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

We're ever learning to love... to be patient... from God, asking Him for help, turning to Him. I could use a super dose recently and need His help constantly... Big time. Huge time. Gigantic time.
