s is what we need to enact again but on a slightly larger scale to get the job done. President Hoover, Truman and finally Eisenhower was bold to do this and Ike showed his American Patriotism in doing what was right and that was protecting the American workers jobs from being taken by cheaper working illegal aliens from Mexico.
We now have approximately 25 million illegal aliens in the United States (even though the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that number at around 7.3 million). It's time to demand, under threat of impeachment, that Barack Hussein Obama launch Operation Wetback IV, and complete the job started by Hoover and Eisenhower. If we don't do this he will grant them amnesty and they will vote him in for another 4 years and that is only way to get reelected if he manages to get Health Care passed when Americans clearly do not want it. Demand Operation Wetback be enacted by calling your lawmakers.

Pat Buchanan on Hardball wanting to bring back Operation 'Wetback'. Matthews is clueless on this.

How Eisenhower solved illegal border crossings from Mexico / The Christian Science Monitor - CSMonitor.com

Fifty-three years ago, when newly elected Dwight Eisenhower moved into the White House, America's southern frontier was as porous as a spaghetti sieve. As many as 3 million illegal migrants had walked and waded northward over a period of several years for jobs in California, Arizona, Texas, and points beyond.
President Eisenhower cut off this illegal traffic. He did it quickly and decisively with only 1,075 United States Border Patrol agents – less than one-tenth of today's force. The operation is still highly praised among veterans of the Border Patrol.

on June 17, 1954, what was called "Operation Wetback" began. Because political resistance was lower in California and Arizona, the roundup of aliens began there. Some 750 agents swept northward through agricultural areas with a goal of 1,000 apprehensions a day. By the end of July, over 50,000 aliens were caught in the two states. Another 488,000, fearing arrest, had fled the country.

By mid-July, the crackdown extended northward into Utah, Nevada, and Idaho, and eastward to Texas.
By September, 80,000 had been taken into custody in Texas, and an estimated 500,000 to 700,000 illegals had left the Lone Star State voluntarily.

Unlike today, Mexicans caught in the roundup were not simply released at the border, where they could easily reenter the US. To discourage their return, Swing arranged for buses and trains to take many aliens deep within Mexico before being set free.

Tens of thousands more were put aboard two hired ships, the Emancipation and the Mercurio. The ships ferried the aliens from Port Isabel, Texas, to Vera Cruz, Mexico, more than 500 miles south. The sea voyage was "a rough trip, and they did not like it," says Don Coppock, who worked his way up from Border Patrolman in 1941 to eventually head the Border Patrol

IKE was RIGHT! We need to start Mass Deportation of the illegal aliens Right Now. Whether they are a man woman or child we need to get them out of here ASAP!

It doesn't matter if they came 25 years ago or 25 minutes ago they all have to GO!

Why didn't republicans get it done in the last administration?

Because the Texan wanted to pander to Mexicans instead of worry about Americans. And we have another Texan trying to get in, once again hoping to pander to the Mexicans and forget about Americans. For all the huffing and puffing from the right, they sure do seem to be just as stuck in illegal immigration as the left.

Hmmmmmmmm........

"The Mexican-born settlers in Texas were soon vastly outnumbered by people born in the United States. To address this situation, President Anastasio Bustamante implemented several measures on April 6, 1830. Chief among these was a prohibition against further immigration to Tejas from the United States, although American citizens would be allowed to settle in other parts of Mexico. Furthermore, the property tax law, intended to exempt immigrants from paying taxes for ten years, was rescinded, and tariffs were increased on goods shipped from the United States. Bustamante also ordered all Tejas settlers to comply with the federal prohibition against slavery or face military intervention. These measures did not have the intended effect. Settlers simply circumvented or ignored the laws. By 1834, it was estimated that over 30,000 Anglos lived in Coahuila y Tejas, compared to only 7,800 Mexican-born citizens. By 1836, there were approximately 5,000 slaves in Texas."

I guess someone should have warned the Mexicans that the wetos breed like flies.

Says he's banned.

Woo.

Maybe some people can take USAR as an example that not everybody who is involved in a group is representative of an entire group.

So for all the people labeling the OWS protesters as rapists, etc... get a clue you fools.

There would be many unintended consequences to such a thing, How about instead of envisioning some glorious patriotic mission where millions of American doors get kicked open by paramilitary forces we spend a few moments to ponder the downside.
