If seniors did not have Medicare, they would have no medical care at all because private healthcare would not even consider covering them for $9600 a year like Medicare does. One trip to ER can cost $10,000 and Medicare pay it without any questions.
We cannot reform healthcare and bring down cost without government run healthcare with a public option and ignorance to this do not add up to BLISS, but adds up to BS.

And the baccus bill will still leave 25 million americans without insurance. Maybe thats why some of us who aren't republicans are against the bill. (That being the bill doesn't really solve any problems, it just creates red tape and gives taxpayer money to big pharm)


Instead of spending all the time that you do looking for different ways to bash those on the conservative side maybe you should spend some time trying to come up with ideas that both sides can find acceptable.

For example:

Tort Reform
Tax credits for purchasing insurance
Tax breaks for companies providing discounted/free insurance
A simple regulation stating that if you get sick your insurance company can't deny your claims.

Instead of being filled with hate and partisanship why dont you try to reach out?

Pilgrim, that's exactly why this is not about Health Care reform, real health care reform would address what you posted and include opening up competition, and pre-tax dollars for health savings plans, IT'S REALLY ABOUT A GOVERNMENT TAKE OVER OF 6% of our economy. The democrats love to control the people, they want our money, they want to be able to say what we can do and what we can't do with our everyday lives and our dollars.
