Let me start with the alphabet soup for reference:

TPP (Tans-Pacific Agreement)
FTA (Fast Track Authority)
TAA (Trade Adjustment Agreement)

As this average dude understands it, REPUBLICANS are trying to give Taqiyya the Liar Fast Track Authority.

Obama needs the legislation to finish negotiations on the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement with Japan and 10 other countries, a trade deal that would be the largest ever for the United States and mark a signature achievement for the administration.

TPP is a treaty in word and objective that must be ratified so I am puzzled. What good is the FTA when the Trans-Pacific Partnership does not stand a chance of getting 67 votes needed for ratification? even though REPUBLICAN leaders are behind a bipartisan effort to bypass treaty ratification required by the Constitution.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2

2: He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

Neither Democrats nor Republicans are admitting that the TPP is a treaty. Ratifying a treaty is a lot harder than is passing a law. On the negative side an unratified treaty can sit on the shelf for decades. Dangerous United Nations treaties have been sitting on the shelf like snakes waiting to strike again.

Now comes this:

The decades-old Trade Adjustment Assistance program to help retrain workers displace by trade emerged as a final obstacle in talks on the TPA bill. Many Republicans question the value of the program, but it often moves in conjunction with trade agreements to bolster Democratic support for the deals.

XXXXX

Hatch, Wyden and Ryan did not release details of the TAA deal. However, the bill is expected to move separately from TPA so Republicans can vote against it.

“The bottom line for us is there will be no TPA if there’s not a strong TAA,” Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a Michigan Democrat, told reporters Wednesday evening.

Laws are much easier to manipulate and rework; hence, passing off the TPP as a piece of legislation rather than a treaty.

The White House faces a particularly tough battle in the House, but is under pressure to show movement on the legislation before Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visits Washington at the end of this month. Hatch said earlier today he hopes to move quickly in the Senate. The House could also advance the legislation soon.

Lawmakers strike deal on fast track trade bill - Doug Palmer - POLITICO

Taqiyya the Liar is pissed because his “SIGNATURE TREATY” is in trouble before it is ratified. Taxpayers better start praying that the TPP rollout is not as costly as was the ACA.

Obama, meanwhile, prickles when the TPP discussions are called secret.

Secrecy marks Trans-Pacific trade pact

Here comes the fun part. Then-Speaker of the House Typhoid Nancy favored passing bills in order to find out what is in them. Now, she wants every punctuation mark explained in a Republican bill.

In a show of unity with other House Democrats Pelosi announced she would be opposing the current bill promoting TPP at a labor event.

XXXXX

Any call for transparency should kill the current TPP effort which has been one of the most secretive in the history of trade agreements.

Nancy Pelosi Comes Out Against TPP Fast Track Bill

Nancy Pelosi Comes Out Against TPP Fast Track Bill FDL News Desk

There is not one reason for working Americans to like a bill/treaty that gives Wall Street’s absentee owners the most benefits. I would not be surprised if Wall Street hustlers wrote the bill. To me, it is sickening for so many Americans to believe anything that originates on Wall Street is good for the country.

Popular myth says Wall Street’s collapse caused the Great Depression. Stock traders were always crooks to be sure; nevertheless, the reputation Wall Street enjoys today is due to media and the S.E.C.

The S.E.C. was established to keep Wall Street honest. I don’t think I have to list the scandals, the thefts, the bailouts, etc. that went on right under the S.E.C.’s nose in recent years. At least taxpayers did not have to bailout the crooks in 1929.

If there is such a thing as a federal bureaucracy with but one purpose for its existence —— legitimating theft and corruption —— that bureaucracy is the Securities and Exchange Commission. As bad as the other federal bureaucracies are, you cannot name one without a legitimate purpose, nor can you name another federal bureaucracy that is as competent as is the S.E.C. The federal government would be in good shape if only half of its bureaucracies were as competent for American taxpayers as is the S.E.C. for Wall Street.

From it’s inception in 1934 the S.E.C. has been a cloak of respectability covering Wall Street’s shady practices.

Every economic crisis engineered by Wall Street was a scare tactic. The TPP is one more Great Depression scare tactic. To hear Republicans tell it, the country is going off the cliff if the alphabet soup is not passed.

Republicans, or Democrats, going over a fiscal cliff is doublespeak for “We must not cause another Great Depression.” And why not? The Great Depression turned Americans away from individual liberties and towards big government. The TPP scare tactic will be worse than the other ones because TPP abolishes sovereignty

Finally, it was the insurance industry in partnership with Wall Street who were behind the ACA as far back as the original HillaryCare in the early 1990s. After Taqiyya the Liar took office, Wall Street crooks began paying off crooks in Congress so they could steal money from Americans through higher premiums and astronomical deductions. That was not enough for the insurance industry. They saw a way to further enrich themselves by taking promised benefits away from elderly Americans who were forced into Medicare.

While the first robbery was still in progress, Congress diverted Medicare money to illegal aliens who never paid a penny into Medicare. Wall Street and insurance companies licked their chops as tax dollars made them richer beyond their wildest dreams. Combine the largest theft in history to date —— the ACA —— with the unratified TPP treaty should it become law and you’ll have an idea of what the federal government and Wall Street is planning for Americans far into the future.

Question: Where was the S.E.C. while crooks were robbing the country blind in broad daylight?

The tpp is another gift to the fucking super rich. It needs to be stopped.

To Matthew: You are correct —— if you mean the tax dollar F-S-R.

She may be campaigning to earn the trust of the 99%, as they like to call themselves, by promising to steal from the rich and give to the...well...the bloated federal organizations that once claimed to serve the poor, according to their originally-filed mission statements but have since become retirement programs for middling bureaucrats, . . .

The XVI Amendment bails out banks. Bank bailouts enrich Wall Street investment firms by extension because big banks are traded on Wall Street. Wall Street gurus and politicians suggesting a new set of regulations smells like a rat to me.

Encouraged by Wall Street crooks, Left-leaning politicians are jumping on the ‘too-big-to-fail’ bandwagon knowing they have a safe class warfare issue to run on:

There is nothing wrong with hustlers of every stripe jerking banks out of the public trough, but if anything is too-big-to-fail they should start with large charitable foundations because of the income tax charitable deduction. Every institutional charity is a business and should be taxed as a business.

Finally, if Bernie Sanders and the rest of his kind are serious about breaking up an institution too-big-to-fail they can stop income tax dollars from funding the government’s coerced charity business.

Most Americans know how the Chicago sewer rat works. The truth is that Congress itself is a sewer infested by rats in both parties.

Remember how two of the foulest sneaks, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, passed the Affordable Care Act in secrecy even though not one Republican voted for it? Notice that two Republican sneaks, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, lack the nerve to at least admit:

Surprise, surprise! The TPP is following in the ACA’s footsteps —— only this time it is Republicans invoking the golden rule —— BIPARTISANSHIP:

The Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, debate is made even more bizarre by the intense secrecy surrounding the proposed treaty. A Politico article described the hoops lawmakers must jump through just to see the bill.

“If you want to hear the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal the Obama administration is hoping to pass, you’ve got to be a member of Congress, and you’ve got to go to classified briefings and leave your staff and cellphone at the door,” stated the article by Edward-Isaac Dovere.

“If you’re a member who wants to read the text, you’ve got to go to a room in the basement of the Capitol Visitor Center and be handed it one section at a time, watched over as you read, and forced to hand over any notes you make before leaving,” Dovere continued. “And no matter what, you can’t discuss the details of what you’ve read.”

Congress giving Obama 'blank check' for gun control

Congress giving Obama blank check for gun control

Members of Congress can stop the secrecy in one second with nothing more than a simple majority refusing to pass anything the sewer rat does in secret. The fact is this: The ACA proved that a majority in both parties agree with secrecy. Democrats got away with the ACA; the sewer rat in the White House signed the ACA; the Supreme Court said the ACA is constitutional; the public was powerless before and after the ACA passed; so why should Republicans not use the same method with the TPP?

Can anybody tell me how the filthy sneaks in 2017 will be any different than the filthy sneaks in Congress and the White House today? Answer that question for yourself every time you see television talking heads pumping up interest in the coming elections.

The nest of traitors in the Senate struck again.

Congress_Rdp-02e21-3924.jpg

“This is an important bill, likely the most important bill we will pass this year. It’s important to President Obama,” Sen. Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah), chairman of the Senate Finance Committee and primary author of the bill, said. (Susan Walsh/AP)

It matters not which party leads the betrayal. Traitors always muster the required number of votes for any piece of legislation needed to pass whatever the United Nations wants. Be certain of one thing. The United Nations is behind this betrayal:

A coalition of 48 Senate Republicans and 14 Democrats voted for Trade Promotion Authority late Friday, sending the legislation to a difficult fight in the House, where it faces more entrenched opposition from Democrats.

And of course a little fertilizer is included to grow the parasite class. Those who teach “labor training” will get lifetime jobs at the public trough. That is more “training” than the jobs the men and women lost will ever see:

The legislative package also includes new funding for labor training for workers that are certified for having lost their jobs because of foreign competition.

Once again, the presidency comes up as a joke. Do you think anything would be different if Mitt Romney won the election in 2012? Romney/Ryan reaffirmed one ugly truth: Elections are secondary to nominations.

Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who was the Republicans’ 2012 vice presidential nominee.

Now chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, Ryan is leading the push to secure as many votes as possible from the Republican side of the aisle for Obama’s fast-track authorities on trade deals. He has been working with Boehner’s leadership team convening meetings with Republicans to educate the dozens of junior lawmakers who have never considered a trade deal like the potential Pacific Rim pact.

NOTE: Media mouths smugly tell us that American voters only start paying attention to issues a month or two before the election —— after media mouths nominate the candidates.

Incidentally, how goddamned stupid do junior lawmakers have to be? How much education is needed to put the country ahead of the global government crowd. If they have to be educated after they get there they should not be there in the first place.

Finally, screwing union leaders is the only good thing I can see in the TPP.

Obama’s aggressive push for the trade agenda has upended his relationship with his long-standing allies in the labor movement, as well as anti-corporate liberal activists who strongly supported his 2008 and 2012 elections.

Obama wins trade victory in the Senate

Obama wins trade victory in the Senate - The Washington Post

For fifty years, government unions supported every act of treason members of Congress and the president committed. It is absurd to claim that Taqiyya the Liar upended government unions.

Note that not one tax dollar job was ever outsourced. In fact, parasite jobs grew in leaps and bounds while private-sector jobs slowly disappeared. It is private-sector labor union leaders who deserve to get it in the neck by TPP. They never did a thing to stop outsourcing jobs when they had a lot more clout than they have today.

Finally, the house can stop the TPP. Do not count on it with John Boehner and Ryan Paul in charge.

Finally, screwing union leaders is the only good thing I can see in the TPP.

Why? Your side has their unions. Supreme court, US Chamber of commerce etc.
The thousands of lobbyists representing big corporations.
