We are first for peace, but while it may be the administration's call to do nothing, the nation as a whole would not care to see the Middle East erupt. I don't think this administration would follow being left out. Our finest hope for our part in giving Iraq and Afghanistan back to its people and out of warmongers' hands is that the Middle East would realize it is in their own best interest to declare a peace and leave our dear friends in Israel alone and begin acting like brothers to each other.
We have a model in the USA for people getting along. It may not be perfect for them, but the decision to live and let live might be considered the most preferable when the most treacherous warmongers there fall away from power or are pushed by their own people out due to a national headache like the one now being experienced in Syria.
Ahmadinejad and Assad should either get out before their war crimes get them in further trouble with the UN or start talking like peacemaking statesmen if they truly care about the integrity and endurance of them as brothers in a world of brotherly peace and mutual respect.
