The tea party folks should be delighted by her attitude. She treats them as adults. Wants them to stand on their own two feet and not get any freebies from anyone.

I think she has enough knowledeg of who she is, and where she is going to wind up in three/four years.. So right now she is going to get while the getting is good.

The thing is, the tea party organizers want an effective, energizing speaker. One who will give the convention a good time. Palin is good at that. They need to pay the going rate for entertainment. Palin is a bigger draw than the tea party outfit as a whole, so they need her more than she needs them, pretty much to the tune of $100,000
