Palin stiffs Republicans!

Ppphht... "nobody important?" You care to elaborate on that, or are you just going to hope people swallow that garbage?

The important people IMO are the voters. Most of the people who voted for John McCain did so only because they couldn't vote for Obama and there was no one better who had a chance to win. Very few voted for John McCain because they thought he was a great politician. If the GOP wants people to vote for their candidates, they need to return to their conservative roots.

LOL. Which roots? Limbaugh, or Eisenhower?

It doesn't really matter. The Bush Republicans are very similar to LBJ-style Democrats. Even Obama is a lot like Bush. It'd be nice if the two major parties actually had a few significant differences rather than the 'almost socialist party' and the 'socialist-lite' party.

dwight eisenhower was the best president of my lifetime. he left office when i was 6. it's been downhill ever since.

Nobody important cares about the GOP anymore. As long as Republicans continue to act like Democrats, they don't deserve anyone's respect.

So you're going to try and tell me that how a person votes determines whether or not they're important? By what standards?

:eusa_eh:

What I'm trying to say is this: The important people IMO are the voters.

Why would she want to spend time with a bunch of lecherous drunken Republicans partying in Hot Springs while people freeze to death just west of them?

This may be the one sensible thing she's ever done.

Sarah Palin is still the most popular govenor in the United States. She doesn't need Republicans in congress--for an approval rating. She represents her state & does a fine job of doing it.

Too bad other elected politicians don't do the same.
