The latest from Sarah Palin...

Todd and I would like to offer our best wishes to the Jewish community as they celebrate the High Holy Days. With the celebration of the Jewish New Year this week and the observance of the Day of Atonement next week, we are reminded of the hopeful commitment to renewal and peace exemplified by the Jewish tradition and the Jewish people throughout history.

Yom Kippur, the most solemn and important of the Jewish holy days, is a time of reflection and supplication for forgiveness. The timeless human struggle to promote justice, harmony, and peace is seen here in this process of atonement – in humbly seeking pardon for past wrongs in the hope of a new beginning. It reminds us that if we wish to co-exist globally, we must all strive for forgiveness and tolerance.

A speech was given at the United Nations General Assembly yesterday that was full of hateful anti-Semitic rhetoric. It was a shameful display before a body whose very charter is premised on the need for co-operation and harmony in pursuit of peaceful co-existence between nations. Such talk was especially abhorrent coming as it did during the Jewish High Holidays. The world community must speak with one voice in declaring anti-Semitism and all forms of intolerance and racism utterly unacceptable. There is no place in the community of peace-loving nations for those who traffic in hate or deny the terrible atrocity of the Nazi Holocaust.

In this holy season, we join the Jewish people in the struggle to promote justice, harmony, and peace. May God bless them.

And her disciple Sinatra has carried the word of Palin from the Facebook Mountains to the people. Except unlike during the times of Moses, they laughed. So it shall be said, so it shall be written.

Palin criticizing the actions of the Iranian President the other day and saying they were wrong is be akin to going outside at 3 am and saying it's dark out.

Bitter much?

Not bitter. Sinatra is acting like the obamabots now, he falls over Palin's every word as if it is the gospel. All she did was post on her facebook page about how the Iranian President was wrong. This isn't groundbreaking or news by any means.

Though the amazing thing is, Republicans on this board have tried to say "why bring Sarah Palin into any sort of conversation since she's no longer governor" but it's people like Sinatra who create threads about her every other day. Or if it's not threads about her, it's threads about Obama.

Here's a novel concept: You don't want to see what Sinatra posts? Don't read it. We all have free will...

... for now.

I was going to post a response, but you basically summed up what I was going to say next.

Well, actually Sinatra didn't do a damn thing except post Sarah Palin's words. Nice try though you two.

look at the title of this thread, and compare it to the actual post by Palin on facebook

if you cant see they are not the same, then you need help

Actually Palin did stick up for Israel in the context of the UN speeches this past week - and did so with force and conviction.

The thread title is quite apt...

Congratulations to former Governor Palin for supporting Israel

How can republicans not nominate this woman??

Palin 2012

 You really don't get it do you cheerleader?

Sarah Palin will cost the GOP its incredibly small chance for victory in the election in 2012 if she is allowed to have a dominant voice for the Party.

Context is everything.

There are plenty of places on our spinning globe that you can go outside at 3 am, say it's dark outside...and be completely wrong...Alaska being one of them.

I'm with Mr Sinatra on this one..

Sarah Palin offers the best the republicans have to offer. It is essential that they nominate her to represent their views in 2012
