Palin says she "would give it a shot"

It's going to get interesting the closer we get to November 2012. I know Sarah Palin said she would run but I think she will use that powerful political leverage she has for some other purpose to be shown us a little later on down the pike. I would be surprised if she really ran. However, with all the chants about how easily it would be for Obama to defeat her in an election, I don't think so. Mickey Mouse could run again Obama and win in 2012. He's history. Very bad history.

If she really wants to be president some day, she should run for Congress IMO. I simply do not think she can beat Obama.

You know Obama's poll numbers are quite a bit higher than hers, right?

Sure, BD, sure. And we all remember the wonderful years under the Conservatives from 2001 to 2009.

So I guess those 2 years for 2007 to 2009 when DEMOCRATS controlled congress still count as conservative rule eh.

I have a hard time keeping it up but I think this is what you guys are saying.

When dems control the white house but not Congress. It is congresses fault. When they control congress but not the WH it is the Presidents fault?

That about size it up?

Still playing the stupid country hick, Charlie? With a bare majority in Congress, there was no way that the Democrats could overcome a Presidential Veto. The Dems had little power from 2007 to 2009.

Governor Palin was the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Securitys counterterrorism plans.

And Governor Palin quit after little more than two years of service to the people of Alaska

Her reasons

Governor Palin said she was resigning her post due to the costs and distractions of battling the ethics investigations launched against her, describing as “insane” the amount of time and money that both she and the state had expended. At one point, she said the State of Alaska had spent $2 million and she and her husband Todd would be spending "more than half a million dollars in legal bills in order to set the record straight." The Anchorage Daily News reported that much of the $1.9 million cost cited by Palin consisted of the regular salaries of state employees who would have to be paid whether or not there were ethics complaints against Palin.[5] Other media sources suggested that Palin herself incurred serious financial debts defending against the ethics charges.

Palin also said she was resigning to avoid becoming an ineffective lame duck governor once it was known that she was not seeking a second term, stating "it may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: "Sit down and shut up", but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out".

Palin declared that although she loved her job and it hurt to leave it, her decision was in the best interest of Alaska. She said that she expected to continue her involvement in public affairs as a private citizen, and that the lack of an official title would not bother her, nor would it hamper her effectiveness

You know Obama's poll numbers are quite a bit higher than hers, right?

Why would a woman who holds no political office even HAVE an approval rating?

Be that as it may, there will always be the fools who still think Barry is doing a bang up job... I imagine you'd be among them...

Palin can "give it a shot" if she wants...

Hell, Kookcinich "gave it a shot" too...lol

Unfortunately, we still have to survive the "0bama Disaster Years", so concentrating on 2012 is not what I'll be doing....
