Palin Power - It's Real

Myself, I like the woman and I think she's a genuinely good person. I think she's been unfairly hammered by the left to limits never seen before. But vote for her for President.... aaaaahh, I don't know about that one.

all this emotional from the gut stuff leads me to the conclusion that you are a flaming lib.

The Red one was always the cool one. Along with the green one. :eusa_whistle:

Though when I got older, I always thought it was amusing at how it was sort of racist and sexist.

Like her or loathe her (in my case neither, I just want to fuck her) her political influence is real.

The Republican Right adore her and she can change news cycles (she was the first to get the term “death panels” circulating in the news and to large degree helped to make Obama’s healthcare proposals (well the Congress, Obama just hoped a lot) a very rocky road indeed.

In a way she reminds me of Reagan in the 70s, he was much derided by the Left and mainstream media as a fool, soley an actor-mouthpiece, some one who could never win the White House all the way until 1980.

Publicity tour turns fresh page on ‘Palin Power’

They had been waiting for more than 24 hours, camped out on the pavements in a frigid Michigan chill. Stepping off her bus, in four-inch heels, black skirt and red blazer, came their heroine — clutching baby Trig. A roar went up, acclaiming the woman who they passionately believe is going to save America.

...Should anybody have doubts about what a potent political force Mrs Palin is — and what a formidable candidate she would pose if she chose to run in the next Republican presidential primary — attending this inaugural book signing in Grand Rapids, Michigan, would dispel them.

There were “I love Sarah Palin” T-shirts, “Palin Power” posters above moose heads, “Team Sarah” jumpers, children in pushchairs, octogenarians in wheelchairs and thousands of “Sarah Palin for President” badges.

...Global warming was “horse****”, one man said. Another said that he was “sick of all these bull****” politicians — she’s the straight-shooter we need”.

These people were passionate about Mrs Palin, just like the hundreds of thousands who turned out to see her at rallies last year when she ignited the presidential race after being chosen by John McCain as his running-mate. Polls showed that she ultimately hurt the Republican ticket — a disastrous interview with CBS’s Katie Couric inflicted lasting damage — but since then her political brand has only become more potent.

“2012? What are the possibilities?” one reporter asked Mrs Palin as she worked the rope line to the country music anthem Only in America. “Not rulin’ it out. Not closin’ any doors,” she replied.

The Liberals can't stand her, neither can Asswipes like David FRUM (Whom pretends to be a Conservative) argues against her.

Sarah is the REAL DEAL, and the ensconsed ELITES cannot stand it from either side of the aisle. Palin is in good company with Reagan...

We shall see if she ascends to the lofty heights of a Reagan (hard to believe)

But what is now undeniable is her transformation into a socio/political force. Mrs. Palin is a figure to be reckoned with - which would explain the Left's absolute lunacy in trying to demean her 24/7...

I like Palin as a person, she has a lot of spunk and I like her take on defense however; she is starting to become like any other politician. When asked several questions like "do you think Obama is a Marxist" she tip toed around it. Say what you really think Sarah, stop following advice from old Republican has-been like John McCain.

Again Defense, Great
Family Values, Great
Domestic economy, I give her a "D". We don't need another person that will follow McCain's platform. She locked herself into that one, and if she is serious about running, she better stand up and just tell it like she see's it without worrying about the PRESS and stuff.

People would respect her more and she will get more independents behind her if she did.

Maybe if she actually had some sort of platform to stand up for. It's nice to throw around such "cute" phrases like down with taxes, up for family values, and a strong defense but words do not amount to such actions.

Her family is a key example. Abstinence only works? O rly? It didn't even work in YOUR home Sarah under YOUR WATCH and yet you want to try and sell that to the American People? :cuckoo:

As for a strong military defense, what I've seen no politician really address and what you won't see Obama even dare address is the budget. As a Democrat, he can't even go near that topic without being flamed. However, the military budget is so bloated and we were spending nearly $600 billion a couple years ago and could not get our troops the necessary body armor to fight.

As far as economics, Sarah Palin is no Conservative either. She supported the bailout for those who do forget. The state that she was governor of could be technically considered the most Socialist in the U.S. The list goes on.

The reason why Palin can not succeed in the main stage as a Presidential candidate (even if she wins the nomination) is that people can't take her seriously. Her knowledge is lacking, she quits her Governorship for really no reason, she says outlandish things that go against U.S. policy for over forty years that make no sense to reverse now, etc.

If I were a Conservative, a real one at that, I would be worried if the country considered people like Palin to be part of my ilk.
