No campaign has been waged other than the one he has waged. 787 Billion dollar stimulus bill, that is not creating any private sector jobs, passing this legislation without anyone reading it. Where is the TRANSPERENCY he promised? Stating that unemployment would not go above 8% because of this Stimulus bill, it's over 10% now. 410 billion dollar Omnibus bill with 9,000 earmarks, after he PROMISED that he would not sign anything with earmarks in it. Lately another Ommibus bill over 1 trillion dollars with another 5,000 earmarks in it. Stating at least 4 different times during the campaign that the negotiations on health care would be broadcast on CSPAN, with drug companies, doctors, insurers, hospitals etc. That has not happened, it's been in the back room with a minority of people writing this monstrosity. Where is the TRANSPERENCY he promised?
Now Cap and Trade which will tax EVERY American family app 1,500 to 3,000 dollars a year in higher utility costs??

No one needs to mount a campaign against him he is doing a great job of that all by himself.

Skipped right over the fact that all the naysayers on the stim bill cherry picked the parts they didn't like. Gotcha. Now prove to me that they DIDN'T "read" it. Just because you say so doesn't cut it.

If C-Span wasn't able to broadcast EVERYTHING, it's because they already have contractual obligations for live coverage of the full HOUSE proceedings (C-Span) and the full SENATE proceedings (C-Span2) when they are in session. Neither of those chambers dismissed all other business because of the health care COMMITTEE debates.

Only a moron would conclude that Obama had the power to order C-Span to do a fucking thing. And, as I said previously, they DID cover the most important committee sessions. As an added thought, if you knew anything about how a bill proceeds through the legislature, you would know that staffers to ALL the legislators read the bills (both parties) and highlight the meat therein. All told, there are a shitload of paragraphs containing legal mumbo jumbo, which nobody reads.

The length of a new legislative bill OBVIOUSLY depends upon the enormity of the policy change. That would apply in the case of the stimulus bill, and in the health care reform bill, some Republicans suggest it's not long enough. Imagine that.
