Bush voters were "warning" Dems to stop being "mean" to Sarah just 72 hours ago, or there would be a "backlash"....LOL

Obama rebounds in polls

Governor Palin's momentum seems to be diminishing

DEMOCRAT Barack Obama today surged into the lead in national polls which showed the financial crisis rocking the White House race and "Palin power" fading for the Republican ticket.

The Democratic hopeful, who has been lacerating rival John McCain over his capacity to rescue the US economy, led 49 to 45 per cent in a new poll of likely voters by Quinnipiac University.

"Senator Obama is right back where he was before the so-called convention bounces with a four-point lead," said Maurice Carroll, director the Quinnipiac University polling institute

The poll found women have returned to Senator Obama after favouring Senator McCain by five points two weeks ago. Senator Obama now leads Senator McCain by 54 per cent to 38 per cent among all women.

Palin arrived with more baggage than Paris Hilton on a flight to Europe.

Great. Yet another useless poll and two moonbats to support it.

Yet last week you were running your mouth about how McCain was taking the lead? Its only useless now because the American public is now seeing that Palin is so unbelievably bad that only an idiot like McCain would put someone like this on his ticket. :clap2: Good job Grandpa

Charley Gibson - "So what do you think about the Bush Doctrine?"

Sara Palin - " Umm Which Part Charley?"

Exactly

did you think the moonbats on the right were ridiculous for all their celebrating last week?

I believe I even saw a thread proclaiming the race over because McCain had a 4 point lead

I love this game the neo-cons keep playing.

They whine and bitch and moan about how mean the Dems are being, but when you actually look at the situation, the only thing the Dems are doing is faulting Palin for her record in office.

Nobody in power in the Dems actually cares about the personal baggage, it's her public record in office that the Dems keep pointing out as flawed and unworthy of the office for which she is running

So the lying neo-cons are attemtpting to stifle that complaint by claiming the Dems are attacking her personnally.

These people have no shame.

polls are useless...people lie to pollers and again the questions are ask in such a way to elict the answer the pollers want.

but you cant be rah rah about polls when your candidate is up in them and then disreguard them when they reflect what you do not want. which is it?

Like there are not moonbats on both sides, silence...

Funny thing is a LOT of us where trashing their clinging to useless and incomplete polls, just as these moonbats are

the polls are all shit--that's my final word

I don't...

Just saying.. we have moonbats on BOTH side trying to read so much into incomplete BS polls that change like you change a 1 year old's diaper

Yes, and no... we spent almost a week listening to obnoxious little brats talk about how a couple of post-convention polls meant that Obama was done.

Polls aren't "incomplete BS"... but they are only a snapshot of a particular moment in time. It's the trending (if, in fact, there is a trend) that is important.

And anyone who uses the current polls to say McCain is toast is silly, too.

No jillian... polls are about useless.. you can find polls at any given times with such drastic differences... they are complete horseshit

There is only 1 accurate pol and it is the only one that counts.. the actual election...

I think she was a bad choice. But toast? Dunno... counting one's chickens and all that...

why do you think they're toast?

The last week, the financial turmoil, it's scared many people. And they look at McCain and Palin and think............well..........what would they do?

I think the realisation hits home that they're a collective joke.

I HOPE that's true. But another issue can arise a week from now that is good for the Palin/McCain's and bad for Obama. For this moment in time, though, it does look like they're going to have a bad time of it (hopefully).
