GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya warned the world of being deceived by Israeli claims about the presence of Qaeda cells in the Gaza Strip and described them as lies aimed at justifying a new intended military aggression on the Strip.
"Despite the calm situation which the resistance factions are trying to keep in Gaza, the occupation has persisted in the policy of assassinations, incursions and killing, and increased the suffering of our people.
"There is no Qaeda in Gaza; there is only Palestinian resistance against the Zionist occupation. [This resistance] does not work outside the Palestinian borders or in the framework of the Arab and Muslim world, but only within the Palestinian context and territories," the premier emphasized.
