DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- 11 Palestinian resistance factions expressed in a statement they issued Sunday afternoon their rejection of the Palestinian Authority's direct and indirect talks with the Israeli occupation and warned of the dire consequences of making concessions and waiving the Palestinian rights.

Their statement noted that the negotiations with Israel would also break its isolation that was caused by its successive criminal acts.

The statement was signed by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the popular front for the liberation of Palestine, the popular front-general command, Fatah Al-Intifada, the democratic front for the liberation of Palestine, the Palestinian people's party, As-Sa'iqa, the liberation front, the popular struggle front and the revolutionary communist party.

In the same context, the Hamas change and reform parliamentary bloc said that Mahmoud Abbas's panting for direct negotiations with Israel after the indirect talks failed is like chasing a mirage and offering illusions.

In a statement on Sunday, the Hamas bloc underscored that Abbas and his entourage are not authorized by the Palestinian people to act on their behalf and do not express their aspirations, thus any agreements they reach with the Israeli occupation would be non-binding.
