Is Pakistan really to be trusted? I think we're being played by them.
Pakistan: the most dangerous nation on the planet: unstable and beset by religious extremists since its 1947 creation in the crumbling days of the British Empire. It is interesting to note that British colonization preceded many current conflicts: Iraq, Israel-Palestine, Sudan, Pakistan-India, Sri Lanka, and Northern Ireland. The actual name of Pakistan is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Why is it that only Islam feels compelled to insert itself into the name of countries? It is not the Hindu Republic of India; there is no Buddhist Republic of Thailand; no Catholic Republic of Ireland; no Jewish Republic of Israel. It is a waking nightmare that a country like Pakistan has nuclear weapons. How long before radical Islamic fundamentalists gain control of the stockpile?
All good points but your question is the highlight of the bunch. What will we do when they get the stockpile? Hell, what can we do?
