KARACHI, (PIC)-- Noted speakers from different shades of Pakistani politics while addressing an International Palestine Conference emphasized that United Nations has completely failed in protecting the interests of Muslim minorities, whether Palestine or Kashmir, and always acted as stooge of Washington.

Addressing the conference titled “Besieged Palestinians and Their Cry” held by Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PFP) at Karachi, the politicians and leaders from a cross section of Pakistani society including the government and opposition parties emphasized that people of Pakistan had always cherished their historic ties with Palestinian brethren and stood by them in their freedom struggle against Zionists.
The conference was chaired by Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, advisor to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Liaqat Baloch, PFP patron Muzaffar Hashmi, PML-N leader Sardar Raheem and other religious leaders including Allama Abbas Kamaili, Qazi Ahmad Noorani, Maulana Munawwar Naqvi, Allama Aftab Haider etc.

Mian Raza Rabbani praised the spirited resistance offered by Palestinians against the oppressive Zionist occupation army and said their freedom struggle has moved the whole world. He said Israelis had violated international laws and norms of humanity, scripting the worst kind of brutalities against innocent men, women and children which had been unprecedented in the civilized world so far.
