You cons just cannot get your prioritys in order. Now why would you support Trillions for wars, give money to the rich who don't need it, give money to foreigners, give Corporations welfare, and then.......................end entitlements to your own American people who paid taxes just like you did to have those safety nets in place in a capitalist failing system?? WHY??

It's easy to find many examples like this, because there are so many of them. Of course, there are also many who actually use welfare payments for shorter periods of time and use them as they were intended to be used. Here is an example where sometimes we misjudge people receiving welfare. Have you ever seen a woman with three kids in the grocery store who pays for her groceries with food stamps, and then loads the groceries into her Cadillac? It makes most people want to cringe, until they understand that the woman is a foster parent helping raise someone else's kids and therefore is receiving food stamps to help out.

The problem we run into when seeing examples like this is that it makes us get so boiling mad, that we then think nobody should ever receive welfare because everyone who is on welfare just abuses the system. Well, that actually isn't true, although when seeing an example like this, it certainly makes us think that way, because it truly is infuriating.

I'm not sure what the answer is, but just cutting welfare out is not. However, I agree that we need to find a way to weed out the abusers. Maybe we should consider reducing welfare payments and then increase them for a short period of time if the person actually finds a job and works. This would give them some incentive to actually look for a job. Maybe we should also consider capping payments for anyone who goes on welfare so that they understand that having another child won't get them more money. Don't cut them off, but make having another child a negative rather than rewarding them with an increase in money.
