Just picturing a "pack of angry Chihuahuas" make me laugh.

FREMONT, California (AP) -- A pack of angry Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop, authorities said.

The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to his ankle, Detective Bill Veteran said.

The five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed the officer in the doorway Thursday, authorities said.

The teenager had been detained after the traffic incident.

I really don't like small dogs! Most are nasty little rats, sort of like cats. Oh dear, now the cat and little dog people are going to be mad at me.

Little dogs are not the same as cats. If they were I would want to kill every cat I saw...

So you like kill little dogs? Yikes, worse than me, I just don't like them!

I saw a lady in Petsmart one day with a Chihuahua and I asked her if she let that thing out in her back yard by itself. She said she did and asked why. I told her that any decent sized redtail hawk would look at that as dinner and would gladly take it off her hands. . . she just looked at me in horror. A golden eagle or a great horned owl would eat it as an appetizer.

we have 3 cats, and thats enough right now. but if I were to get a dog anytime soon, the only dog i can have at the moment is a chihuahua, because they can be trained to go in a litter box (no lawn bombs!) or on a designated surface, and you can take them practically anywhere. We don't want a big dog until the kids are older, and we are home more often. Its too hard to leave a big dog for 2-3 days at a time, whereas cats just need a steady supply of food & water, and a litter box.

Honestly, I don't like little dogs, except chihuahuas and jack russels. anything other than that is just a carpet buffalo.

I can imagine that someone in Hollywood could make a B grade horror film based on this incident... "Attack of the Killer Chihuahas"

But, I'm with most people, I find small dogs annoying.

My neighbor has a small dog that he sometimes keeps tied up in his yard on sunny summer days. The dog will bark at anything that crosses their property line. We were treated to a non-stop bark-fest on some days.

When it comes to cats, however, I'm of a different mind. I like cats. When I was married, we had two. Muffin and Cupcake. They were strictly indoor cats and very good about our new son after my wife came home from the hospital. Both were very affectionate. Muffin lived to be 17 and Cupcake is almost 20. Cupcake lives with my ex. I sometimes think of Muffin, I actually miss her.

That is such a great shot of that little demon of yours Shattered. You need to use it for a Christmas card next year. The Strathmore paper company makes a set of blank cards with matching envelopes that they sell in boxes of 20. A 4x6 print fits perfectly on the outside with room for a caption underneath, a guaranteed hit with everyone you know that knows your little terror.

This will follow him for the rest of his police career. If I know police, the guys at the station have already come up with a nickname for him.
