While flipping past radio stations the other day, I paused on one of them long enough to hear that loon, Michael Savage, offer his assessment of a possible future scenario. He said that if there was a future tea party rally where racist language or signs were displayed, it would be because they were leftist 'plants' who secretly joined the tea party group and their demonstration specifically to smear the tea party movement. So, Savage strongly advised them to know who was among them.

Aside from the attempt to preempt the tea party from any accusation of racism if or when one of their rallies takes an ugly turn, it was a shout out for these people to embrace every paranoid thought that's ever crossed their minds.

With that said, considering the way those persons' minds tend to work (embracing numerous conspiracy theories, etc), one can't help but wonder if conservatives might be so inclined to infiltrate these peaceful 99%er demonstrations with the sole intention of precipitating a violent confrontation since that's what they keep predicting, and their predictions are not panning out. And let's face it, once a violent confrontation starts at any event of any kind, chaos reigns, and it's hard to know exactly how it started. But so far, there's been no real evidence that these mostly spontaneous leadersless crowds are anything other than overwhelmingly peaceful all across the country.
