Don't harsh my zen, Jen!
I saw Dragon allude to that date, and I could swear there was a thread about it but I did an advanced search and cannot find it. If it doesn't exist, can somebody in the know tell me what's expected?

OWS: December 10th

The ECB meeting is on December 9th. If the bankers don't get their way, the OWS will have defeated all the multi-national banks by December 10th.

Please explain further.

How will OWS be directly at the front of the defeat of a bank ?

Clue #1

Clue #2

Clue #3 - Today Central Banks around the world are pumping liquidity into the banking system (printing money) in order to prevent the failure of large multi-national banks (mainly Bank of America) before the December 9th EU/ECB meeting.

Follow discussion in The € EURO thread for more info.

Clue 2 has jack shit to do with OWS... at least according to the article linked to in that post.

12/10 is laid on for a number of demonstrations on 12/10, and in fact for action all through the month of December.

Here's probably the most ambitious undertaking: Support Grows for Occupy Movement's Coordinated West Coast Port Shutdown on December 12th : Indybay This is intended to be a shut-down-the-ports strike all along the West Coast. It was originally called by Occupy Oakland, but has been picked up by the movement in San Francisco, LA, and Seattle as well.

December 10 was set up as a Global Day of Action calling for multiple demonstrations in many places. Here's the statement from Occupy Together: Call for an Alternative Day of Action on Human Rights Day Saturday, December 10th, 2011 | Occupy Together

The point is that this movement is very much alive. The eviction of the tent encampments is not going to stop it. It will simply speed up the move into different tactics, which IMO was due anyway.

That is an absolutely horrid video. The OWS should be guarding all those small business store fronts instead of driving away their business, destroying them & burning them. Your enemy are the multi-national bankers, hedge funds, insurance companies & government officials. They live & work in penthouses, sub-burbs, Long Island & in DC.

Small list of those responsible for this crisis:
- Bill Clinton - signed nearly every part of this into law
- Former & current members of Congress
- George W. Bush
- Barack Obama
- Alan Greenspan

- Random yelling
- Drugs
- Rape
- Shitting on cop cars
- Provoking cops

But outside the smelly hordes of people gathered in isolated areas, nothing out of the ordinary day.

Oh, noes. What was I thinking. I posted that video because I really hoped the looters would go after the small businesses. And I certainly didn't listen to the words, ...

Seriously, dude. When you start assuming people are that dumb, you deserve whatever ridicule and scorn come back at you.

It's a good video. It's a good song that perfectly fits the movement. When people get angry, the riots happen where they live. That's just the way it is. The song isn't advocating, it's reflecting.

The OWS bank transfer day is having a huge impact.

Bank of America Plaza becomes Atlanta's priciest repo - Bank of America Plaza, the South’s tallest skyscraper and an Atlanta skyline icon, was taken back by its lender at a foreclosure auction at the Fulton County Courthouse.

A democractic caucus if ever there was one.
