OWS Cooks Tired of Feeding Freeloaders

They were just so happy a couple of days ago that so many more people were coming to the shit site!

That's pretty expensive food to be serving on a grand scale. I wonder who was paying for all that.

There are always going to be people...no matter what happens, who will take a mile instead of an inch. What I hope for is that eventually both sides will see that we are closer together than we think. Or we can continue to call each other Communists and Fascists and get nothing accomplished. That's more entertaining. Otherwise, we might have to actually work at something....that would be finding common ground. Anyone else willing? I'm personally sick of the name calling.

The tea party is nothing like OWS, OWS is a socialist,Marxist, fascist and communist movement. The exact opposite of the tea party. We have nothing in common and want nothing in common with those lazy fucks in the ows. We call it like we see it, and we stand with liberty and the constitution, not with assholes like george soros and the progressive left who wish to bring this economy and country down. We are not willing to work with you, unless you stand with the constitution as it is written, not as it is interpreted, we dont negotiate or work with anyone hostile to this countries freedoms and way of life.
Unless they will stand with the constitution, as it is written, not interpreted, we will fight them every step of the way, and after 2012 I'd say we will have it pretty good at accomplishing that after we put in place even more tea party conservatives, hopefully taking control of the senate and white house. Can you imagine what we could do with a filibuster proof house/senate and white house? We could shove this shit right back down the throats of the democrats and america will love us for it.

The truly sad part is that I'm certain you actually believe this with all of your heart.

So they're having meetings on how not to spend their money to feed the homeless and down trodden. They don't like having to share with people beneath them, they are so undeserving. They're opening bank accounts, incorporating the movement so they can put money in bank. Let it be known, they are taking in lots of donations and a few are deciding what to spend it on. Sounds like capitalism to me. LOL

it's amazing how disgusting you people are.

though it is amusing to see you all foaming at the mouth over this.
It's really amazing for all to see what sanctimonious, selfish little shits leftists really are, when it comes to helping the so-called downtrodden as the opportunity presents itself in real life.

BTW, speaking of looking the other way when it's convenient, have these makeshift food service operations obtained the proper permits/licenses and subjected themselves to the same inspections and other bureaucratic compliance hurdles, that every other legitimate restaurant and vendor in NYC has to?
Food safety standards are THE MAN'S tool of oppression.

HAHA!!! The irony here is halarious. There little socialist utopia lasted just over a month. Maybe when it's all said and done they will be tea partiers. Maybe they know now how we feel, having to work our asses off just to give it away to freeloaders!!! This is fucking hysterical here. The kitchen workers are tired of working to feed people who lay around on their asses and do nothing all day "Just like us tea partiers". ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!

"The civil rights movement, after all, achieved a legal victory, not an economic one. And for the bottom two-thirds of African-Americans, life is worse today than it was when Martin Luther King marched in Selma in 1965..."

"More African-American men... are in prison or jail or on probation or parole than were enslaved in 1850, before the Civil War began. The corporate state keeps some two-thirds of poor people of color in the United States trapped in internal colonies—either in the impoverished inner city or behind bars..."

Chris Hedges connects the dots between the systematic impoverishment of millions of Americans and the corporate state that the 1% rely on for their 25% share of national income:

"If the movement starts to pull hundreds of thousands of people together, if it leaps across class lines, as I saw during the peaceful revolutions in East Germany and Czechoslovakia, then the corporate state is probably finished.

"Our corporate overlords know this.

"And they are doing everything in their power to make sure this does not come to pass."

Everyone likes to take the opportunity to go "Neener neener told you so" in a loud manner. This was predictable and predicted.

The OWS crown has gotten several little lessons in tea party life. The drummers especially who got huge income hits when they were told to can it during sleeping hours and had half their revenues taken because they were making so much.

I do notice a large number of "Neener Neener" threads on the left at every opportunity. Did you rag on Sallow for his market went up 300 points threads this week?

People are human.

Well, if the New York Post said it - it must be true. Now, we just need The Moonie Times, Breitbart and WorldNutDaily to confirm the story.

Do you honesty think the liberal press would run a negative story about the OWS, no matter how true it is?

You should really get out more.

wow talk about...irony...you still fall for of the left/right illusion and believe the left controls the media...I think you need to get out more

YES! Finally someone else who thinks like I. I too believe that the right/left supposed conspiracy, is an illusion. Read between the lines, folks. It's there for you to see. You just have to look for it.

Actually, that's the Democratic Party's doing.
Democrats have certainly done their share to advance the corporate state.

Phil Gramm, for example, was reelected to his House seat as a Democrat in 1982. A few days later Phil got the boot from the House Budget Committee for co-sponsoring the Gipper's '81 Economic Recovery Tax Act. Gramm resigned from the Democrats and won the special election for his vacated seat as a Republican in February 1983.

Sixteen years later Senator Phil Gramm(R) helped repeal the Glass-Steagall provisions which brought down the walls separating retail banking (where taxpayers guarantee deposits) from investment banks and insurance industries.

Within the last week it's been reported that Bank of America has just transferred some of its riskiest derivatives from BOA's Merrill Lynch division to one of its retail units where taxpayers will be on the hook for losses incurred in Europe.

How do you feel about the parasites coming back for more bailouts?
What are you going to say when their corporate piggies in congress squeal "martial law" this time?.

I've always thought "too big to fail" is crap.

The Wall Street Journal agrees with you.

"Is Dodd-Frank an appropriate regulatory response to the 2007 financial crisis?

"Tragically, no.

"That legislation ignores the government's pervasive role in causing the crisis, assures future transfers from taxpayers to bankers by institutionalizing a government backstop for 'too big to fail' firms, and imposes massive new regulations and unreasonable compliance costs on smaller banks. As a result, lending to small businesses from small banks suffers."

Jon Huntsman: 'Too Big to Fail' Is Simply Too Big - WSJ.com

If we see a "Lehman Brothers replay" in Europe one year from now, the 2012 election could take place in an economy much like the one we saw in 2008. Maybe millions of voters will decide a "choice" between Democrat OR Republican always favors Wall Street?
