You have the same Internet I do, and the same capability to scroll backward. Or just Google "Florida gun laws", Mensa Boy. Do the research you SHOULD have done before you opened your big flapping piehole in the first place.

Like gun control laws, speed limits work . . . only on the law-abiding. Or perhaps you haven't noticed the ever-present segment of society, whipping past you on the freeway as though you're standing still, because they have decided that the laws are for peons, not for them.

The problem is that liberals do not fucking care if gun control laws work. That's not the true incentive. Their true incentive is to tell voters they are victims and they must vote Democrat so the Democrats can save them from the BAD GUN OWNERS.

Did RAND look at Australia after they made gun law changes after a mass killing in 1996?

After looking at the study a bit, I think your thread title is misleading. The most common theme of the study seems to be that the data is inconclusive or limited. It would be more accurate, based on this study, to say that there is no clear evidence that gun control laws work. From the study: "For four of the outcomes we studied— defensive gun use, hunting and recreation, mass shootings, and officer-involved shootings—we found inconclusive evidence, at best, on the effects of any of the policies."

Here's a link directly to the study, although it's easy enough to get to from the Daily Caller page: Informing the Gun Policy Debate

The chart about whether particular types of gun laws may increase or decrease outcomes actually seems to lean toward gun control laws possibly decreasing negative outcomes. :dunno:
