Overwhelming evidence that homosexualityy is *NOT* fixed

There are not genes, genetic defects, birth defects or brain injuries in the womb nor anything medically detectable that proves people are born gay, just as there's no evidence that black people are born wanting to eat fried chicken, Italians wanting to eat pasta and pizza, Mexicans wanting to eat tacos and stupid jihadis wanting to suicide bomb infidels.

not yet anyway

Here's an article from a peer reviewed scientific journal that suggests that some homosexuality may be caused by gene mutations.

Thus making it possible to not be born gay but to become naturally gay later.

The evidence isn't as overwhelming as you wish it were.

I told jeffree what all you said Chuck and he said don't believe Charlie Bass or Sunniman.....he said don't read there threads and dont listen to them because they are false accusers who have never experienced lovers paradise......

yes Sunni, and I told Jeffree all about you and Chuck, and jeffree got "damned" mad.....he said he will teach you some homosexual acts chump......then he said he wishes he could meet you in person. I told Jeffree you boys are my friends....I think he's jealous !!!!

Sounds like Jeff is proving more and more that homosexuality is a mental disorder.

Yes, a study on mosquitos is proof that homosexuality in humans in genetic and or has a genetic basis, despite the fact a mapping of the entire human genome reveals no such genes nor alleles that make people gay.

Really?

What day exactly did you decide you didn't want to suck dick, fella?

Or have you not yet made up your mind?

And when do and how do men decided they ant to take a penis up their rectum? The burden of proof is on the pro-gay militia to back their claims.

Where did it say it was on mosquitos?

Homosexuality in males may be caused in part by genes that can increase fertility in females, according to a new study.

The findings may help solve the puzzle of why, if homosexuality is hereditary, it hasn't already disappeared from the gene pool, since gay people are less likely to reproduce than heterosexuals.

A team of researchers found that some female relatives of gay men tend to have more children than average. The scientists used a computer model to explain how two genes passed on through the maternal line could produce this effect.

In 2004 the researchers studied about 200 Italian families and found that the mothers, maternal aunts and maternal grandmothers of gay men are more fecund, or fruitful, than average. Recently, they tried to explain their findings with a number of genetic models, and found one that fit the bill.

"This is the first time that a model fits all our empirical data," said Andrea Camperio-Ciani, an evolutionary psychologist at the University of Padova in Italy who led the study. "These genes work in a sexually antagonistic way — that means that when they're represented in a female, they increase fecundity , and when they're represented in a male, they decrease fecundity. It's a trait that benefits one sex at the cost of the other."

Dr Robert Spitzer, a prime mover in the 1973 decision to remove SSA from the Diagnostic Manuals as a mental illness, nearly 30 years later interviewed 200 people who claimed they had changed, and he concluded that real and extensive change had occurred in many cases. This was probably an extreme
sample, but showed unequivocally that change, sometimes large, is possible for some motivated individuals. The study published in 2003, attracted a large amount of criticism and abuse from the gay lobby, but any impartial observer would say he has established beyond reasonable doubt that change does
take place for some people, and that in view of the published literature, this is no real surprise.

Spitzer after his study, received death threats so disturbing that he withdrew from making public comment about the subject because he said he had to protect his family.

A contrary study, showing harm to some people50 particularly showing up in poorer self-image and suicidal thoughts, but including accounts of people who said they had been helped by therapy, was followed by a doctoral project by Karten who interviewed other people who claimed they had been helped and had changed. His results were very similar to Spitzer’s, and support the idea that change is possible.

A book by Jones and Yarhouse in 2007 interviewing those who had been through the (nonprofessional) Exodus program (see below) also concluded that much real change had occurred but described the resulting predominant heterosexuality for many of the participants as “rather complicated”, meaning tinges of same-sex feelings remained. Nevertheless, in their sample the degree of change was actually greater for predominant heterosexuals than bisexuals.

A book by Hallman due out 2008, published by IVP, will describe various degrees of change reported among lesbians. Of course even one published case of documented change would be sufficient to disprove the assertion
that change is impossible, and there are hundreds. Those changes are of varying extent, but the majority of changes are satisfying to those involved – and that is one of the main ideals of psychotherapy.

I have to wonder how many of these people have wide stances in public restrooms.

this whole debates is crazy. genes? what of them? do they alone determine one's tastes in food, sex, cars? jesus. people are chasing their tails.

sexual partners and sexual activities are a preference. fetishes explain much
