The unions thought they could fight back against Gov. Scott Walker's tiny rollbacks without anyone finding out the details. Most people saw what public employees were getting and assumed it was a misprint.

Yep, some government jobs pay well. Mine did, as a LEO I also have great benefits. Of course to secure my job I needed to pass a written examination, three oral interviews, two psychological evaluations - written and an interview - a full background check, a credit check and a full years probation wherein I could have been let go and never advised of why. I also need a four year college degree and for advancement a graduate degree.
For this I got to work most holidays, a rotating shift and deal with drunks, reprobates and miscreants, a few of which were elected officials.
Those 'bus drivers' likely worked many many hours of OT, a method used by city and county councils to cut costs. You see, paying OT does not require paying into the benefits of government employees which makes you so green with envy.

WHat is amazing is that you are so confused on how economics work. It has nothing to do with giving millionaires more money. It has everything to do with the middle and lower classes having more money to spend and put into the economy which benefits all. Those of you on the left are so hung up on millionaires it's hysterical to watch. It has nothing to do with them whatsoever, they are a pawn being used by this administration, nothing more and nothing less. If you confiscated every bit of wealth from everyone making more than $250,000 a year in this country it still would not be enough to pay down even half of our debt.

Wealth redistribution has never worked. The best system (capitalism) is imperfect but beats the hell out of the utopia you seem to imagine can be found elsewhere. You have to wonder why countries like Hungary, Czech Republic and Latvia aren't hard at work trying to recreate the Soviet dream.
