Over 100 Tornadoes Rip Through The "Deep Red South". Dont Expect Obama To The Rescue.

What a perfect opportunity to use other people's misery to blast Obama

Remember Katrina???

Oh yeah, leftist fucks are still blasting Boooooosh over that shit...

Don't even attempt to point fingers here little boy...
I'm sorry, i forget that righties are the only ones allowed to complain.

So how many weeks did these tornodos spend trapped in their homes or at shelters? Just curious.

Well I'm sure there were many victims of the tornado(s) who survived but were trapped under rubble for days and eventually died due to dehydration or wounds...

Besides, those idiots involved in Katrina were told SEVERAL DAYS in advance to leave but they didn't listen....

Tornados are different because there is little warning - maybe 15-20 minutes (if that).

When you have several days notice before a disaster and don't leave - you're a fucking idiot.

:omg::doubt::disbelief:
With another record tornado season in progress with most southern states hit, or expected to be hit this spring/summer/ don't expect Obama and his Chicago Thugs to hand out a few billion to all of the southern and mid-east states. Obama has already gone on a 5 Trillion Dollar spending spree, and being he has already spent god knows how many millions on lavish vacations and campaign tours, he has no money to clean up the destruction to come via Tornadoes/Violent Storms and Hurricanes this year. God forbid LA gets hit with a 7.5. The millions in Cally will be left to fend for themselves.

Fucking moron.

Every dollar unconstitutional....

Sorry, the 200+ year old document doesn't have FEMA in it so we shouldn't be spending anything in this area if you believe in the Constitution being the basis of government power.

Hey, when your business model was made before zippers, street lamps, canned ham, before the discovery of penicillin, prior to the first baseball game played by something like 100+years, and before we realized there was no tie between a rooster crowing and the sunrise, you've got to expect this sort of oversite. Sorry, we can't do anything to help legally.

The federal government shouldn't...

If the state wants to aid then fine - that's well within the constitution...

Besides when there are disasters private charities contribute 90% of the aid. That is why I donate to charities...

Our federal government isn't responsible - they just throw money at the situation and those in the public sector abuse the money allotted...

At least private charities help - they just don't hand anyone in the vicinity of a disaster a 5,000 dollar Visa debt card unlike our inept federal government....

It's all about denial. Big coal and big oil have promoted the false claim that climate change is not a product of humanity, it is in their biased opinion a natural phenomenon independent of our impact on the environment.

And yet the science suggests otherwise. Since tornadoes and hurricanes are natural occurrences and their greater number and great intensity of late, the shrinking of glaciers and such are just a glitch in time and are unrelated to our impact on the environment. So the people in Tornado Alley and the deep south ignore the signs and continue to live in straw and stick houses as the number of wolves increase in size and ferocity.

Of course those of us in Earthquake Country have made sure our buildings and bridges and such have been retrofitted to withstand the next great quake. And we will willingly send our tax dollars to other states where fellow citizens are in need.

We have much work left to be done, but a stitch in time saves lives and property - to mix a metaphor. Let the states do what they can, but the Federal Government has the ability to aid the states and citizens so as to be better prepared for disasters.

It's all a matter of setting priorities.

Why would they want Obama to the rescue?

STOP GIVING THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT POWER THEY ARENT AUTHORIZED TO HAVE.

I encourage people to give to charity to help the people, but dont take money through force of government.

Are you an authority on the Constitution?

The Constitution isn't that difficult to interpret - especially the Bill of Rights..

If you can read and understand a Dr. Seuss book then you can understand the Bill of Rights.

We don't expect Gubmint's help, either.

Don't need it. Don't want it.

So you've stopped using public highways?

Sweet Jesus, the Federal Government doesn't own any roads except those in National Forests, parks and dams. The state or county own the rest unless they are private roads.

Government funds may have helped build the interstate system years ago but the states maintain them and have repaved most of the originals several times.

Stop with this Federal Government road crap, Obama doesn't own them!!

Government owned roads are the most common. The federal government owns roads serving national forests, parks and dams. State governments own most of the highways between cities and towns and the Interstate highways. Cities and counties own the local roads.

Government roads normally have rights-of-way dedicated for roads and utilities. Government roads also have some type of access control. Adjacent owners must get permission from the agency road owner before they build a driveway onto the road. Private access to the Interstate and some other highways is not allowed at all. Federal and state highways almost always depend on local roads for access from private property.

FEMA on the other hand is a federal agency that is supposed to help those facing and rebuilding from natural disasters. It's a shame Obama gets to pick and choose who gets that help.

So our Constitution is a simple document, clear, concise and unambiguous; in your authoritative judgment our Constitution is little more than a children's book.

I doubt any Supreme Court Justice would agree with you.

the states get federal tax dollars for maintaining the interstate highway system.
