Also rode it from Amarillo to Sturgis and back no less than 3 times. Never broke down, and even rode it to the top of Pike's Peak (with an S and S carb) and it never even burped once.

1991 Harley Davidson Sportster, originally an 883 engine that was bored out to 1200, but I kept the shorter piston rods, installed a cam kit and got rid of the stock carb and put on an S and S. Had after market pipes as well, and all of them were AMERICAN MADE.

Yeah...........my friend Danno who was riding a big twin kinda remarked that it was pretty impressive that my scooter ran as well as it did up the mountain.

I happen to believe that the future of America's economy doesn't lie in aftermarket gas caps and basketballs.. To maintain leadership in the Global economy, we should be concentrating on designing the next generation fuel cell technology or 3D printing technology, or artificial intelligience or customized phamaceuticals..

If we spend our time blaming each other for not making socks and toasters anymore --- nothing's gonna actually get fixed. And this country will be cruising the dump looking for bargains..
