A Couple Of Weeks Ago
I Got A Slab Of Pork Spare Ribs
Doggone Meaty For What They Are, And Cheap Too !!

I Had Some Left-Over Hoisin Sauce, And Crystallizing Honey
So I Made Chinese Ribs
They Were Turning Out Great On The Grill
But Time And Weather Made Me Finish Them In The Oven
One Hour At 350 Degrees....I Was Dis-Appointed By That
But They Still Turned Out Really Good

And Now I'm Officially The Master
Of The 220 Degree Weber Kettle Grill

So, My Wife Brings Home An 8# Brisket
Fifty Bucks, Fifty Bucks ?!!?
And I'll Use Kingsford Blue Label Briquettes
(I Use Lump Charcoal For Casual Grilling)
And I Will Use The Snake Briquette Method For The Fire
I Think I'm Looking At A 10hr Or Better Cook
So I'll Get Started When I Wake-Up About 3am

I'm From The Kansas City Area
So KC Style BBQ Sauce Is How We Roll
There Will Be Potatoes, Grilled In Husk Corn
Some Other Stuff, And I'll Grill Our Artichokes Too

Didn't you know that that 'Grilling out' is sexist... I'm appalled lol :)

I suppose you should stick that 50 dollar brisket in the microwave instead so as to quelch your inherent toxic masculinty... UGH!
(Have a wonderful 4th as you commemorate the independence from the tyranny of oppression and come to terms with our new form of oppression from the lunatic 3rd and 4the wave feminist on left...)

Actually
My Wife Is Thrilled That I've Taken On More Cooking
She's Only Been Responsible For Almost Every Meal
And Hosted Party For Over 30 Some Years

We Both Use The Grill Plenty In Summer
So We Don't Heat The House With Cooking While The AC Is Running
It Gives Us Time To Enjoy Our Deck And All Her Plants
It's Like A Conservatory Out There

I'm Introducing Her To Home-Made Summer Sangrias
Minus The Heavy Dose Of Hard Liquors
Just White Wine, Some Triple Sec
And Light Colored Fruit,
Topped Off With Lemon-Lime Or Ginger Ale

I Don't Like A Stiff Drink In Our +95 Degree Summers

That sounds really good.

Which One ??
I Plan To Try The Ribs Again Sometime
I Meant To Get Them On In The Morning
But Didn't Get Them Out Until After 1:30

They Looked Quite A Bit Different After The Oven
And They Sat In A Pool Of Fat
On The Grill, They Were Looking A Real Nice Red
They Were Real Good To Eat Anyway

I use a weber kettle. By far the best grill i have ever owned. In fact, i have owned 2 lol
Thats a good menu!

The Fire Starts Between 3&4am
I Think I'll Turn The Potatoes Into Potato Salad
Something Cool To Eat With All The Rest & The Sangria
I Could Do That Today Or Tomorrow
