One branch of my family were not legal immigrants. They just came down from Canada and settled in Wisconsin with a bunch of other Germans. The rest came over before there was a term legal immigrant.

So true, all of it. The land of opportunity is now the land of handouts. Before, people were proud to become an American and respected the land that offered them the chance to build themselves a better life.

Now, too many people come here with an anti-American attitude and don't respect us. They don't want a chance to build a better life, they want one handed to them just because they demand it.

I couldn't believe it when I read that Obama was working together with the Mexican government to "get word out about food stamps." It's clearly an invitation to non-citizens to take full advantage of the American tax payers.

He is emplementing the Cloward and Piven strategy to over whelm and bankrupt the system. He has done everything in his power to bankrupt the country, and is well on his way. I'm not sure we can survive another 4 years, but even if he is defeated you can bet his last two months will be a terror. Personally I look for him to grant all the illegals a presidential pardon and legal status. That is when you will find the government estiment of 11 million illegals is off by about 300-400%, that might finish us off.

For unity... a nation should have distinct borders, a distinct language, and a distinct culture.

Otherwise its anything goes, and we are divided.

Its OK to keep and love your heritage, but the language of the land should be learned.

How so?

We have people from more than 100 countries here, imagine if they seperate themselves in unilingual onclaves and venture out only to work, could you run a business with a workforce that couldn't effectively communicate with each other or your customers? Or try operating an army when its members can't communicate properly. I actually have experience with that, it creates alot of problems.
