Michelle Obama says we are “in the midst of a huge recovery.” That claim is laughable to anyone who has lived through the last four years; this simple chart from the Senate Budget Committee highlights one of the central failings of Obamanomics: people are leaving the labor force faster than they are entering it. Since Obama became president ten times as many people have been added to the roster of those not in the labor force, than have been added to the labor force:

That record of futility can never have been approached in American history.

7.8% unemployment down from 8.2% because people are too discouraged to look for work and because they are taking part time work at 7-Eleven and Mickey D's is a huge recovery????????????

Here's a chart I would like to see. The number of 50K+ paying jobs lost versus the number of >40K jobs gained since this great "recovery."

You can cover up the truth but you can't cover up the consequences of the truth.

Wow, longknife. What a great non-partisan source: Republican Senator Jeff Sessions and his staff. You did a great job of going as far to the bat shit crazy right as possible.
Relative to the decrease in the work force, actual impartial explanations are quite different. For example:
"Economists say the story is considerably more complicated. For one thing, the trend predates President Obama. And while part of the story is clearly that the labor force is shrinking because the bad economy is driving workers out, another significant factor is that baby boomers are beginning to retire early — a trend that has worrying implications for future growth." Further, the decrease is not a phenomonon of just the obama admin. It has been going on since at least 2000.
The incredible shrinking labor force - The Washington Post

Per the CBO:
"The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) anticipates that during the next decade the
U.S. labor force will grow at about the same rate, on average, as it did during the past
decade; that is, the percentage change in 2020 from 10 years earlier will be about
the same as the change was in 2010 (see Figure 1). The labor force is projected to
increase from 153.9 million people in 2010 to 168.7 million in 2021 (see Table 1).
The aggregate rate of participation in the labor force is projected to fall from
64.7 percent in 2010 to 63.0 percent in 2021."
If you read this analysis in full, the CBO projects a falling participation rate for a variety of reasons, none having to do with any political reasons.

So, being a con tool, you are posting bat shit crazy con sources. Just the way you are. But from a rational point of views, you are, technically, full of shit.

too stupid and perfectly liberal once again!!!! The more participation falls, for whatever reason, including 10,000 baby boomers retiring every day, the better the employment numbers will look! But, despite the huge fall off in participation and the huge number settling for part time work, (2/3) in the last report, Barry's numbers are horrible.
