The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-seven percent (47%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -23 (see trends).

That’s the highest level of Strong Disapproval and the lowest Approval Index daily rating yet recorded for this president. However, while the daily ratings are sometime volatile, a Month-by-Month review of the president’s numbers continues to show a high degree of stability. On a full-month basis, the Presidential Approval Index has stayed between -14 and -17 for eight of the past nine months.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports

I really do think that Obama was so arrogant, he thought he could shove his radical agenda down our throats and we would finally acquiesce to his "brilliance" and accept European style socialism.

Instead, there is a huge backlash brewing. Democrats see it. Obama avoids it by going on constant vacations.

Here is another reminder liberals.

November is coming!

Yea the people don't want this far Left agenda. Time for a correction. Him and the Democrats really lost it when they decided to call everyone in Arizona racists and sued them on behalf of the Mexican Government and Illegals. This was seen by most Americans as turning on your own people. They thought and still think they got the upper-hand by suing Arizona but in reality it has backfired on them very badly. Most Americans don't want our President suing good Americans on behalf of the Mexican Government and Illegals.

Who do the Democrats represent at this point? Obviously it's not fellow Americans. I really do think this President and Democrats are still vastly underestimating how angry most Americans are over this. They continue to be completely clueless. But clueless is a good thing. It will likely help the Republicans make some significant gains in coming elections. Socialists/Communists always turn on their own people eventually. I've been saying this for a long time. This Administration has definitely proven me correct. Their numbers will continue to slide in my opinion.

I agree. But if the Republicans get in there and go back to their "Liberal Light" policies the party is finished.

Good point. I always call them "Democrat-Light" but "Liberal-Light" nails it too. Neocons and Socialists have way more in common than they will ever admit. At the end of the day they're both staunch Globalists and Interventionists. They're both also staunch supporters of Big-Government. That's why i always laugh when they snipe at each other. They're the same entity at the end of the day. The Republicans need to boot the Neocons and RINO's if they want to hang onto this renewed energy & support. I guess we'll see about that. Make 2010 count. Get out and vote.

That's why voters are taking it out of the republican leadership's hands.

For example in Ohio, we voted for Rob Portman in the primaries in "violation" of what the party wanted.

The RINOs like McCain need to go.

I really do think that Obama was so arrogant, he thought he could shove his radical agenda down our throats and we would finally acquiesce to his "brilliance" and accept European style socialism.

I think America had enough of Republicans and would have voted for a pedophile with a turd in his pocket, before voting sure death again. I think the republicans voted for Obama in the primaries thinking he didn't stand a chance as a black nobody. And I think America sacked the right and will do it again in November for various reasons.

Instead, there is a huge backlash brewing. Democrats see it. Obama avoids it by going on constant vacations.

All I see is republican cheerleaders of the Party of NO, and frankly it is all laughable. The right is missing some key elements for a race; unity, voters, message. The lack thereof, the fact the Tea Party is picking off the No party members in primaries, tells me you are going down in smoke. You might want to find a republican hugging station to share your Nov. grief.

You want to put money on that one?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

What are you going to say on November 3, if you turn out to be wrong?

:lol::lol::lol:

Every time I see one of these, I have to remind you that bush got to -35 and that we still have more than 50 days left, and a lot can change.

Of course, 0bama has been hovering around -15 -20 for a long time, so I think this rating is pretty hard wired now.

But what really matters is what happens in November.

And I kind of hope he keeps arrogant and stupid up for a bit longer, so that we get a change of anywhere from 45-100 seats.

I have noticed that our loon Senator Wyden has been playing up the fact he voted against Tarp Twice. And he managed to carve out an exemption for Oregon in 0bamacare.

I'm pretty sure for most voters in November it will be all about booting the incompetent & divisive Socialists/Progressives. People just don't like the Left. Hopefully their fifteen minutes are just about up. Make 2010 count people.

You're delusional.

Obama and his cronies got elected because they were not Bush.

Anybody who is not a Democrat will be elected because they are not 0bama.

The equation is the same. The population is ticked off and the parsitic party hacks are too deranged to figure out that people just want a fair and just governing group. As long as the two parties are falling all over themselves blowing the special intersets, they will continue to be turned out.

All I want from government is to be left the Hell alone. Being forced to buy something is not Constitutional. Going to war with a country that is not a clear and and present danger is not Constitutional. Paying for some sobbing, stupid teen to get an abortion is not Constitutional.

As long as these crackpots continue to piss on our collective hats and tell us it's raining, we need to vote them out.

Cut spending. Do the people's business. Cut the BS. Balance the budget and make government pensions illegal. The crap is so thick in DC that nobody thinks it shouldn't be there. It's time to clean house and start with anyone who voted for Obama-Care.

Pure panic is setting in within the Democrat Party establishment - and fingers are finally being pointed toward the White House by those very Democrats.

Developing...

Bush wasn't re-elected with a -35 rating, nor was he at that unfavorable level in 2004.

The problem for Obama is that the inanity of his economic policies has played out in high relief for months. Sensible people know that going deeper into debt is not a solution for deficit spending. When 22% of the workforce is under or unemployed, the rest are cutting spending to make ends meet in the fact of higher taxes and dropping values of 401Ks, IRAs, and homes - seeing the government go on a spending binge is offensive.

People who normally would just go about doing their jobs and taking care of their families are becoming increasingly afraid that the government is destroying the conditions and environment which makes such self-reliance possible. Obama's unpopularity is due to the accumulated effect of job killing programs. He won in 2008 by representing himself as a moderate who would steer the country through the financial crisis. He has made things worse. The majority of Americans understand this.

Sometimes I wonder about the 'yahoos' on both sides. Seems to me that some people are more interested in their 'side' winning than on what is in the best interests of the country. Both sides seem infected with idiots.... and a few of them are on this forum.

I agree that Obama got elected in 2008 and the Congress switched to D in 2006 due to the anti-Bush sentiment, much of it from the conservatives. While the surge in Iraq helped, the immigration 'reform' push sealed the 20% something approval rate.

Obama entered office with a mass of goodwill. Immediately he ignored the people on spending and health care reform. Same with drilling offshore. Not addressing economy other than spending. Totally lacking in empathy with growing unemployment, loss of housing worth, expenses of living.

The guy is totally tone deaf and taking the party down with him.

to be fair, I think the best way to really track approval is the way real clear does it.

that being said gallup and ras. are trusted and accurate, plus any poll that surveys Likely Votes- LV and Registered voters- R is far more accurate than your anonymous poll -A.....taking Gallup and Ras.'s latest, its a -20. Hes sinking and has been shedding 1 point or 2 over the last month...

CNN Poll: GOP's midterm advantage is growing

By the CNN Wire Staff
STORY HIGHLIGHTS
*Republicans are gaining the upper hand as midterm elections approach
*Independent voters are increasingly prepared to vote for a GOP candidate
*Republicans and Democrats are equally unpopular

(CNN) -- With November's midterm elections less than two months away, a new national poll indicates that the Republicans' advantage over the Democrats in the battle for Congress is on the rise.

According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Monday, the GOP leads the Democrats by 7 points on the "generic ballot" question, 52 percent to 45 percent. That 7-point advantage is up from a 3-point margin last month.

The generic ballot question asks respondents if they would vote for a Democrat or Republican in their congressional district, without naming any specific candidates.

"The survey indicates that independents and voters who dislike both parties are starting to break toward the GOP," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "In a year when anger at incumbents is a dominant political force, the key to the election lies among those who aren't rooting for either side."

...
According to the poll, the two parties are equally unpopular. Forty-nine percent of all Americans have an unfavorable view of the Democrats, with the same percentage feeling the same way about the Republicans. Just over one in five questioned dislike both parties.

The real lesson to be learned is to the newly elected. People are paying attention and you defy the will of the many at your career peril.

Your lips to gd's ear. But I am not counting my chicken before the eggs are laid.

Lots of Felons & Illegals to be bussed in to vote for the Democrats on Election Day. So never ever underestimate the Democrats and their community organizers' ability to rig elections. Just look at what they did in Minnesota and how they stole that election for Franken. They will try this all over the country in November. All those Democrat votes have a habit of magically appearing at the last minute. Vote but stay vigilant. Pay attention to your polling place and what's going on. If you see something strange, don't be afraid to report it. Democrats are incredibly desperate and they will do anything. Don't let em steal any elections this November.

Yep and sadly that may be just what we need. We need both these parties to BE FINISHED. Time for new blood and real solutions. No more Republican Democrat 2 party Rule.
