    Overhead, administrative, management, handling, clerical...

    "Church" is the quintessential red flag of charity.

    No it isn't. On the whole churches usually have lower overhead than organized charities.

    Vatican city must cost a fortune to run. Israel too. Al-Qaeda isn't free either. Neither is the US army (GW called the war in Iraq a "crusade").
