Did I say it was a good thing?

    No.

But you clearly think it's a bad thing.

Hence my asking why, as in:

    Yeah, so?
Obviously, you think this is something odious.

    Explain why.

I'm confident that anything anyone attempts to teach adolescents in the USA will be met with such crass disregard and opposition that the "Organizing for America" effort will only result in the rise of Neo-Nazism.

Samson -I hope you are wrong. If the "agenga" includes stocking food pantries and collecting coats for the poor, I doubt there will be much opposition. If it is registering Dem voters, and spreading socialist propaganda. It will be met with the outrage it deserves.

I have no issue with as long as parents of minors are required to sign off before thier child gets excepted into a program like this.

I will never forget the day I walked onto my sons high school campus and I walked past a young man in a uniform. I looked at him and he was smiling, when he saw me the smile disapeared and he hung his head. I wondered why he did that? I realised later in the day why he had. I had a worried look on my face because I was dealing with an incompetant teacher and was trying to deal with the mess she was causing (she was later fired and replaced with a great teacher). The young man saw me walking onto campus with my tall, handsome son who would have made a great recruit. He thought my concern was for what he was doing with his life. He was a recruitor. He grabbed his OWN shame out of the situation and thought I was reacting to him being on the campus to take my son.

I think this young man probably to this day loses sleep over the indoctrination he provided for a stack of lies from our then Bush government.

How many kids died because he talked them into going to a war for lies?
