"In considering what motivates condemnations of gay marriage, it's crucial to recognize that condemning some demonized "other" has a pernicious allure for those who are wrestling with personal demons. In the twisted logic of bigotry, denouncing the identity of someone else is sometimes an effort to deny that the denouncer shares that very identity."

are there really that many closet homos in california?
Lemme let you in on a secret,
cad".
Being gay isn't "normal".
I mean it's cool and all if you're gay. Knock yourself out, but keep it in your closet.
Because the bulk of society consists of mind dead drones who operate exclusively at a survival, procreative level and are devoid of the capacity to escape that directive, even momentarily.
That said "gayness' is universally stigmatized the world over for a profound and justified reason: Gays are infertile by definition.
Gays are void of the central drive that defines not only humanity but all of life.
So they have a completely contrary value system to the rest of humanity and most of nature. They don't share our values. They are NOT the same kind of humans we are.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, we shouldn't stone them for being evolutionary rejects.
But they aren't "normal', or "healthy" or "mainstream'.
And what they call gay sex, isn't sex by any modern scientific definition of sex.
Gays are misfits.
Let them be in peace.
But whenever they try to assert normality by doing things like asserting equal marriage rights at the expense of causing Bush to defeat Gore then they need to be shoved straight back into the closet.
Where they belong.
let them stfu and cornhole one another in complete privacy.
Best to let sleeping dogs do what sleeping dogs do than to thrust them into the midst of the public debate so they can energize the gop/fundie nation.
