Dear Mr. President,

I read with increasing dismay each time, your administration's labeling of those who oppose your policies as "opponents of reform." You just did it again today, in trying to blame shift on the Van Jones deal.

Sir, no one is opposed to reform. We all believe this country needs it. We simply oppose YOUR half-cocked, ill-considered and damned expensive version of reform, and are quite nervous about the speed in which you are trying to accomplish it.

Slow the fuck down sir, you are showing now to be sloppy, making many mistakes and bad decisions. Haste makes what? Waste and the blame shifting game only works the first couple of times you use it, after that it's just an insult to the folks out here.

YOU are responsible for Mr. Jones and the whole debacle. YOU nominated him. YOU gave him the job, either without proper vetting or with the "what me worry" notion that no one would look too closely at him. Either way sir, it's quite sloppy and it is YOU, not "opponents of reform" who caused that problem.

Stop the blame shifting and Man up. And stop demonizing the folks out here. They aren't "opponents of reform" they are opponents of too much, too fast, ill-conceived and half-baked plans. You got elected under the old "let's do something even if it's wrong" mentality sir, but campaigning and governing are two entirely different kettles of fish.

We're with you sir, but you have to lead us. Not demonize us, not lie to us, not continuing to practice the politics of division, and not be pushing a hidden agenda. Otherwise? We WILL oppose you at every turn. We WILL resist. And YOU will lose, sir.

With respect,

The Midnight Marauder

I thought I would bump this due to the President's address to the joint session tonight. It's my hope he will begin to clear all the mud out of the water that his administration's mud slinging and name calling and blame shifting has caused.

Let's fix our health care problem Mr. President. But let's not replace it with something that's invasive, intrusive and punitive.

Okay?

Obama's lying and lying and lying and lying. That's all he's got left
He seems to not realize that he would get far, far more support if he would distance himself from the extreme far-left fringe of his once great party. He's letting them call far too many shots and it's costing him.

People for the most part like Obama, want to like him, but he's making it tougher for fair-minded folks every day.

Really now? Do tell on which topics he's letting the far-left fringe of the Democratic Party letting call the shots?

Last I checked, he's rolling over for the Republicans on every opportunity.

Come on now. You can't possibly be this obtuse. This health scare bill is only the latest big thing he's put in the charge of Pelosi and Reid.

HE needs to step up and lead, and really, truly? Make a stand and stop waffling.

I would love to have that debate with Mr. Obama, any time he feels froggy. Since he could never find me affixing those labels to him anywhere it would be a short debate.

Obama couldn't help himself, he had to further poison the well tonight. In a long, rambling, bullshit speech, it was basically, "The republicans hate poor people" and more demagoguery about foreign wars he himself has done nothing to stop. And all the while, still very non-specific about health care.

He didn't help his cause at all.

Well thought out letter.

Obama would need his teleprompter to respond and then all he would do would be to blame and lie.

Same old, same old.
