OPP say they will not be releasing the name of the officer or the location of the court, as this could potentially identify the victim and they would like to prevent re-victimization.
You read that right, I didn't make it up. They don't want to give information about the officer or the victim because the lady in question could be sexually assaulted again! This is how CANADA works, believe it.
If CSIS, the RCMP or their surrogates call a U.S agency with some intel or information, the best course of action is to hang up or place the phone down and go make a coffee. We've seen it happen with the Maher Arar case among many. The Canadian security apparatus cannot be trusted. Try and get an Access to Information Request about operations in foreign businesses and see what response you receive.
