...& it's about time. The best way to keep government small is to pay the public sector employees peanuts, & I mean PEANUTS. Non military government employment is entry level employment at best. I'd even push for states to pay 20% below a states minimum wage as TOP dollar for EXPERIENCED public sector employment. If you desire to be free of being held a hostage to these public sector employees write your state & fed reps & let em know that you support "peanut pay" for public sector employees, & that you expect your rep to enact into law "peanut pay" for the dead beats employed in the public sector.

Getting rid of unions doesn't mean getting less pay. However, it may give the company the chance to fire poor performing employees or make them help pay for some of their benefits just as the private sector does.

It may even bring back manufacturing to the States if our employees were as good as China's. They don't keep the pot smoking lunch bunch like our companies do.
