In one of the worst SCOTUS decisions ever, right along with Plessey and Korematsu, the Justices ruled in Wickard v Filburn that the abused Commerce Clause gave the federal government the right to control the produce a farmer grew on his own land for his own consumption.

It's a decision that needs to be overturned and apparently only 7% of the population concur
