OUCH!!!!

Even that number seems too high given the latest round of unemployment figures.

Still, 39% is damn low...:eusa_whistle:

____

Only 39% of voters said they would vote to re-elect Pres. Obama if the election were held today, while 50% say they would vote for someone else. A quarter of voters would definitely vote to re-elect Obama, while 37% would definitely vote for someone else.

It's a poll.. I don't trust polls.. as stated so many times before

Many of his loyal Obamabots will vote for him regardless.. the brain dead zombies still buy into the hype, no matter how many bad ideas, government expansions, and poor performance numbers show

However.. just from personal networking and chatter... I think it can be witnessed that many moderate DEMs, Blue Dog DEMs, and Independents are quite fed up with him... and for our country, I fully believe that to be a good thing

I think current polling actually shows higher ratings for Obama than actually exist. Too many are still uncomfortable indicating dissatisfaction with the "first Black President".

White guilt got Obama elected - and it may just give him a second term. Obama has proven so inept though, that that possibility is greatly diminished since his election...

That's how it is in any election. Whoever gets the middle gets the win.

And to be fair, there are a lot of righty-bots as well who will vote for the republican regardless of who he/she is as well. I wouldn't call myself a bot, but considering how far left the democrat party has moved in recent years, i can't see myself voting for one anytime soon. That doesn't mean i would feel good about voting for a republican though.

So, what's the polling show for Caribou Barbie?

39% ????

That is still 15% more than he needs to beat any of the stiffs the GOP has in 2012

Want to start naming some names??? I need the laugh

No doubt that we have rightybots and ones that don't hold any REP candidate with any scrutiny.. and that is no better

Come on boys!

Where are all the GOP candidates who are capable of beating Obama??

it should be easy

Romney-20%
Huckabee-19.7%
Palin-18.7%
Pawlenty-2.5%

2012 Presidential Election Polls

What a sorry bunch...Their biggest challenge will be satisfying the far right fringe of the party. Any candidate that passes muster with the Tea Baggers will be unelectable in a general election.
Romney is the best choice but once his platform gets restructured by the right wing he will be unrecognizable

Actually... I would not vote for either of the top 2 REP candidates.. I am not one who likes Palin running for Prez as much as I accepted her as an OK VP candidate... regardless, I will not be voting for Obama in any way, shape or form... but we have time yet to see the political landscape changes, new candidates emerge, etc

Besides, Romney is a Mormon and the right has already proven they will never allow a Mormon on their ticket, so I don't trust these figures, even as low as they are.

Looking at the names being mentioned as potential GOP candidates and the current economic trends, it looks like a landslide the equivalent of Reagan/Mondale in 1984.

it is not going to be pretty for the GOP in 2012

I'm surprised it's that high. The Socialists/Progressives have completely sunk many future generations. That number should be much lower.

2012 is all but irrelevent following the thumping the Dems will incur in 2010.

The anti-Pelosi-Reid-Obama backlash is shaping up to be quite signficant...
