One statement you will NEVER hear from a rightwinger

i believe freud called this type of behavior projection.....

2a. Freudian Projection

The following is a collection of definitions of projection from orthodox psychology texts. In this system the distinct mechanism of projecting own unconscious or undesirable characteristics onto an opponent is called Freudian Projection.

* "A defense mechanism in which the individual attributes to other people impulses and traits that he himself has but cannot accept. It is especially likely to occur when the person lacks insight into his own impulses and traits."

* "The externalisation of internal unconscious wishes, desires or emotions on to other people. So, for example, someone who feels subconsciously that they have a powerful latent homosexual drive may not acknowledge this consciously, but it may show in their readiness to suspect others of being homosexual."

* "Attributing one's own undesirable traits to other people or agencies, e.g., an aggressive man accuses other people of being hostile."

* "The individual perceives in others the motive he denies having himself. Thus the cheat is sure that everyone else is dishonest. The would-be adulterer accuses his wife of infidelity."

* "People attribute their own undesirable traits onto others. An individual who unconsciously recognises his or her aggressive tendencies may then see other people acting in an excessively aggressive way."

* "Projection is the opposite defence mechanism to identification. We project our own unpleasant feelings onto someone else and blame them for having thoughts that we really have."

Yes and opinions are like a$$ holes everyone has one and some of them STINK. And your opinion of those of us who are conservative Republicans is totally ridiculous, but I guess when you are a liberal, progressive, socialist democrat your opinions are the only ones of any worth. WRONG. But then the party of jacka$$e$ are pretty much wrong all the time.

And by the way, your statement sounded pretty much like what the messiah said when asked about when life begins. I think what he said was that's beneath his pay grade. That pretty much sums up his entire time in office so far. 2012 can't come soon enough to send one and done jimmy carter jr back to being a community organizing thug in Chicago.

That seems to be par for the course for people on both sides of the aisle, but you already knew that. You're just trying to stir up a conflict. Bored?

You don't need an opinion when you have "talking points" and "marching orders" given by your leadership.

Actually, no.

Republicans are a party of mostly one race and one religion.

Democrats are a true coalition made up of many different types of people. People that have to negotiate to arrive at an agenda they can all agree upon.

The two parties are vastly different with agendas that are poles apart. One party is working for the good of the US, the other party strictly for their race and religion.
